Viking Surf House Thisted

Had a wonderful experience at Viking Surf House. The recommendations were spot on, the facilities were great, and everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and made the stay feel special. I highly recommend it if you want a surf experience in Denmark — the "Cold Hawaii" is truly worth it. My one bit of feedback would be around surf safety: I felt that some of the safety guidance around actually getting in the water could have been more thorough. Nothing that ruined the experience, but something worth strengthening for less experienced surfers. Thank you for a memorable stay!

It was my second stay at Viking Surf House and both the accomodation as well as the surf lessons have always been great. It feels more like friends and family rather than a business while still retaining every aspect of professionality you could ask for. I will definitely come back another time :)

Awesome Experience The Surf Camp with the Vikings was a really great time! The accommodation (holiday house in Vorupør, next to Klitmøller) was nice and comfy. Having surf lessons has been great, too. Very friendly and supporting people, everyday good fun. Changing surf spots daily by weather conditions was a cool thing, too. They offer car racks, to keep boards on your own, which creates a little independency, maybe for another round in the afternoon. All in all, we had such a good time, definitely coming back! Great surf camp experience at Viking Surf House. The surf instructors were excellent, the accommodation was great, and the staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We had a really good time and would definitely recommend it!

My two daughters (18 & 20 years old) took part in a surfing course (5 x 2-hour sessions). They had a lot of fun and learned a great deal – the surf instructors were very friendly and competent. We didn't use the accommodation since we traveled with our own caravan. The café is also highly recommended – we had delicious sandwiches, cakes, and the best flat white with oat milk. We'll be back!
