Vineriet ved Valby Bakke Frederiksberg

20/02/2025: Bought a delicious bun to take home. I had a bucket with me and was given sourdough in the bucket for free. So now I can skip a whole week of starting and feeding a sourdough. Looking forward to baking with the sourdough.

17/02/2025: Meyer's original first, and very popular café, in the middle of Gl. Kongevej, which has changed style several times over the years. Here, girlfriends meet for a 2-hour chat & latte, the pram people park the sled outside(!), girlfriends and older people for a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll. The place is not big and resembles a confused cafeteria where people wander in and out all the time. The service is help-yourself, including clearing the table from the hipsters and truncheons who are above that sort of thing. The prices, on the contrary, are on the high end, for the ecologically meaningful food that is imposed on you. Cozy, but Meyer's brand has been eroded and it has been far better.
