My favourite smokehouse in the world. And at this point, I've been to a lot. Don't skip the prawns!

The beer is great, the food just as good as at a Texas steakhouse and the vibe just is amazing.

Edit: after a first bad experience (c 3 years ago) I decided to come back and was happily surprised. Brisket was amazing, beers also very tasty. Prices are quite high but I’d say adequate considering quality. Recommended

Ate Taxas tray, brisket, Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Everything was good but lacked that little extra. Was an expensive lunch with a bad exchange rate against the Norwegian krone 😅 come back, but then I will try one of the burgers. They looked magical 👍

20 quite different beers on tap ranging from low alcohol to 10% Imperial Stouts. Did not try the food. Busy place

Very expensive, 285Dkk/38 euro for a meal enough for one, add 75dkk/10 euro for a beer. Food is pretty good but nothing special. Goes up a star for the great music and atmosphere Trooper plate pictured

This is always our first stop when coming to Copenhagen. The food is amazing and service is friendly. Slightly chaotic atmosphere as getting a seat at the tables can be a bit tricky - this place has always been busy when we’ve visited. Nonetheless, would definitely recommend coming here!

As long as you want big and busy, this place is great. The beer is on point, with a good selection. The food is simple quick and very tasty. We were there on Friday night and there must've been 300-500 people there. It's big and very popular. This is not the place if you want quiet cosy and intimate!

I'm from St. Louis, Missouri, USA, so I know legit BBQ. I questioned my husband about his choice for dinner, figuring he was choosing it for the beer and Black Sabbath reference rather than the food... Because, who expects legit BBQ in Copenhagen? Obviously, not me! If I didn't know better, I'd swear I was eating BBQ right in the heart of Texas or even my own fair city. Good job, Copenhagen! The atmosphere is loud, which is usually a ding against a restaurant but, because the seating is shared tables, you never know who you will end up with. We met a lovely couple on holiday from Poland. This is the best part of traveling, eating great food and meeting great people. Anyway, War Pigs is a must if you want to experience legitimate Texas BBQ. I got the pulled pork and the hubby got the brisket. Both were amazing.
