Westergaards Hotel Ringkøbing-Skjern

18/09/2025: During our stay in Ringkøbing, we visited Restaurant Kalo twice. The fact that we returned after the first visit is certainly a good sign, but there are a few caveats. The food is quite good and affordable. The first evening, we both had a pizza with salmon, spinach, and cheese (and lots of arugula). The second evening, we had a hamburger with fries and a beef tenderloin. The restaurant's decor could be a bit more atmospheric, and the music is a bit too loud. The service is prompt but businesslike. It feels a bit rushed, and they mostly make eye contact with their iPads. We were addressed in German several times, even though we spoke English and aren't German. That felt a bit unprofessional.
