I have known this place since I was a child and have occasionally enjoyed a cake or two. It has always been a cozy shop and good service! However, I will say that the quality of their cakes has gotten a lot worse over the years, plus the prices have increased (like everything else in the country, and of course it is not just the bakery's fault). The last few times I have bought cakes from them, I have been super disappointed with the quality of the cakes. For example, their quay cake has gone from tasting fantastic with delicious soft pink cream, to something that is so disgustingly sweet that you can barely finish the little cake, with a consistency I can only describe as a form of "frosting" i.e. more solid. And the strawberry pie, which was bought a few days ago, has had far too sweet cream (compared to, let's say, the same cake from 4 years ago), and has become approx. 30kr more expensive :( I would personally much rather go to, for example, Brugsen and buy one of their cakes for a cheaper price, as you often get something better for your money However, it must be said that I have not tasted every single cake and bread they have - I am only speaking from personal experience.
