Superb shop that I had read about online and decided to visit while on holiday. It has such a lovely friendly vibe, with knitters sitting at tables by the window or upstairs on the mezzanine level, enjoying a cuppa and a pastry. Hubby was happy with this arrangement :) I am new to knitting so was very grateful for the help in picking a pattern and yarn, and there are lots of samples you can try on. Would definitely visit again if I found myself back in Copenhagen.

Great cozy yarn store with helpful staff. Great selection of natural fibers. I love the Cool Wool Big and my sister loves the baby alpaca yarn. It is often very busy, but less so on weekdays. They are very strict on the "no outside food or drink" and will likely remind you if you have a water bottle.

Woolstock - isn’t just a store with a fun and clever name and play on words. Step in and you will find a place with tons of delightful yarn, stories about everything from the ready pieces to origins of yarn, the pattern books themselves and the helpful volunteers themselves. I stepped in, hesitant as I am new to knitting and didn’t know how much yarn to buy and of what type, but Louise and her son were so kind with their time and expertise. They helped me find the right amount of Jung, the right type and all I had to show them was a photograph of what I wanted to make. If you were ever looking for Jan or even considering getting started with knitting or crochet, I would highly recommend stopping at Woolstock - to get you started on your duty. Or even if you just wanted to continue the one you’re already on. I think the cherry on the cake is the hygge atmosphere in the store, the cute story about Ice cream that they sell.
