You Sushi Hillerød

21/11/2024: Nothing spells the “love of beer” like a macro lager in a dirty glass, right? Add a few bucks to upgrade your edamame to spicy … meaning a few spurts of sriracha and some sesame seed sprinkles accompanied by a lemon shard that has been working overtime this week. Yet this is a brilliant place! From a taste point of view I have zero complaints. Great food. Fish looks, smells and tastes fresh. Arrangement on the plate is nice. Place is buzzing. Pick-ups are a-plenty. Service is Bruce Lee quick and to the point. They offer Asahi, Sapporo, Iki and Kirin on bottle, which in itself is way beyond most Izakays or Sushi bars in the Nordics. Honestly my first (and mandatory) stop next time in this neck of the woods. One piece of advice though, ditch the Lucky Buddha. What a horrible excuse for a beer.

27/10/2024: Ate there on Saturday night and sat on the 1st floor where there is a jumble of people getting take-out. Unfortunately, there is a distinct smell of sewage from the toilets downstairs from the ground floor :/ Inconvenient to order ad libitum for several people via 1 mobile phone. Bad information from the friendly but very young staff. The price for ad libitum is DKK 288 without the option of choosing or buying additional shrimp chips. And dessert you also had to pay extra for even a scoop of ice cream cost extra. Sashimi salmon nothing to write home about. Not butter soft but slightly chewy fish meat. 1st and last visit
