Zalt København

Looking for an affordable restaurant after visiting Christiansborg Palace, we came across Zalt and were pleased with the welcome and the food we were served! It was a successful lunch, in an area frequented by tourists, where I would not normally dine, because they are known to be traps for the uninitiated, but it was still worth stopping by this restaurant! The price is about as high as in all of Denmark, but you have nothing to do and "bear" it!

I truly liked this restaurant and was impressed with the food quality. I visited here in December 2025. I was looking for something to eat quite late at night after landing at CPH and venturing to the city. This was my first visit to Denmark, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I ordered the veal steak - medium, though it was a bit tougher than expected. Regardless, the flavor of everything on my plate was fresh and buttery. I was amazed with the freshness of the food, especially for food served at a bar/ restaurant such late in the day. I would also like to add that the staff was very kind and welcoming, too.
