19/08/2026: This fishmonger with a snack bar was the perfect finishing touch to my Danish holiday. I wanted authentic, local fish, and that's exactly what I got!
The staff were incredibly efficient, and there was absolutely no wait. Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous. We enjoyed a beer from the brewery next door, sitting comfortably on the wooden benches and savoring our tasty meal.
We'll definitely be back, because there's so much more to try! 😊
17/08/2026: Very tasty and well-prepared fish and delicious remoulade. The fries were okay, I would have preferred them salted, but that varies from country to country. Unfortunately, you can only eat outside, where the seagulls lurk. But that's always the case at beachside snack bars 😊

16/10/2026: A fantastic evening at MellemRum – DiningWeek at its best!
We had the pleasure of visiting MellemRum in connection with DiningWeek, and it was an experience that deserves the warmest recommendations. From the first moment there was a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and not least a waiter who made the evening very special.
The menu was put together with great creativity and attention to detail. We started with pani puri with smoked crème fraîche and tapioca, followed by salted and smoked almonds and marinated olives with parsley and lemon. Small, delicate snacks that set expectations high.
The starter with crab bisque on Danish shore crabs, served with cod foam, burnt leek oil and saltwort, was a real pleasure. An elegant dish with lots of flavour and fine nuances.
The main course with tuna tartare, avocado cream, marinated apples and mild ginger sauce was fresh, well-balanced and really delicious. Both flavour and composition were thought out here.
The main course with roast veal and tender veal breast, cauliflower puree, marinated cauliflower in tarragon and red wine sauce was a highlight. The meat was delicious, and the side dishes played beautifully with the sauce. A dish that was both refined and full of flavor.
The dessert with crème brûlée, chocolate mousse and white chocolate was the perfect end to a lovely dinner. A sweet finale that put the finishing touch.
But a fantastic restaurant experience is not just about the food. Our waiter also deserves special praise. The service was welcoming, attentive and professional, and we felt really welcome. It is clear when a waiter is passionate about his work and manages to make guests feel safe and comfortable. The good service lifted the whole experience and made the evening even more memorable.
All in all, a wonderful DiningWeek experience with exciting gastronomy, beautiful flavor combinations and first-class service. MellemRum manages to create a dinner where both food and people are at the center.
A restaurant we can highly recommend – and which we would love to visit again!

31/08/2026: Cozy bistro in Vesterbro with good food! Their burgers are among the best in Copenhagen. Good selection of beer and wine. Relaxed atmosphere perfect for a weekday evening. The staff is friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back!
25/07/2026: Food was excellent. I particularly liked the white fish with corn and rhubarb. The service was also very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

14/09/2026: We had such a wonderful evening! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, especially the beef carpaccio and the tartare, which was freshly prepared at the table…among the best we’ve ever had. The mussels and chocolate mousse were also excellent. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the warm, family-like atmosphere made the evening even more special. Highly recommended!

05/07/2026: Here you get real inn food and the decor is really cozy, just like at grandma's house.
Unfortunately the food is not quite top notch and not at all for the price. The shooting star is absolutely fantastic and worth the price. The tartlet is good, but too expensive, you can eat 2. The fried pork is in varying condition, some are good, while others are dry. The potatoes are really good. The sauce was absolutely terrible, it was far too thick. I think we got 2 liters of sauce with almost no parsley in it. Could have made do with 1 liter of 'thick' sauce with a lot of parsley, which stuck to the pork and did not have to be cut out with a knife and fork.
The waiter was really nice.

30/05/2026: Well, here we came 14 people and were going to have lunch.. Lovely food, nice people. BUT then they want 280kr for 2 jugs of water!!!!
This is probably the craziest thing I've ever experienced.. not Danish water.. not bottled water, but tap water with ice.. it really takes the edge off such an experience... öv
20kr for them to throw a glass on the table and you can get half a glass of water. Despite having thrown 4,500+ kr

19/09/2026: Bad service, and recognition of mistakes!
My friend and I were going in to enjoy a glass of wine after a long walk.
I had the urge to pee and therefore went to the toilet before ordering wine.
When I was finished I discovered that there was no more toilet paper in the large and opaque industrial toilet roll holder. Nor was there any extra paper in the toilet - or in the aisle before the toilet itself.
Thank God it was only urine I had to get rid of - but it was so uncomfortable not to be able to wipe myself.
Imagine if it was feces!?
I mentioned it to the staff and actually think they should give free wine as an apology for this - but no - we didn't get anything, not even an apology. And it wasn't because it was busy. The 3 employees stood around laughing/chatting a lot of the time.
Really bad service from an otherwise nice restaurant. 😠

12/10/2026: We were 5 people for lunch during gastro week 9.10.2026.
We had 4 dishes that we were all excited about. Very delicious and beautifully presented, and our sweet waiter brought the servings in the right order.
Will definitely come again.

08/03/2026: We were four people - and had been looking forward to a good experience!
It wasn't. There is no reasonable relationship between price and quality - not to mention quantity. ONLY visit Dauphine if you are NOT hungry. In particular, the main course was smaller than expected or a child's portion. with COLD small pieces of Jerusalem artichokes.
The squash course tasted bad - to my taste.
The dessert tasted good - but the lentil base was poor and probably bought in a supermarket.
Dear Dauphine: I don't think you can be familiar with it.
Not at all harmony between price, quantity and quality.
Regretted we had driven almost 200 km - to visit you

21/02/2026: Had read the good reviews and chose Dauphine for our trip out to the Aarhus food scene in connection with Dining Week.
Unfortunately, the evening was characterized by the need to rush through, and that the chosen menu should be easy to reheat and serve. The starter was not balanced - large temperature differences between the cold and the hot on the plate, the main ingredient, a "salmon terrine" of some kind, had not been out of the fridge long enough. The main course was unacceptably small, but otherwise tasty. The dessert was quite ok. But again, the feeling that it was just a matter of serving pre-cooked food prepared for the hordes permeated the experience.
Unfortunately, the service was not good either. We were received by a man who was clearly not used to being in the restaurant (kitchen?), he barely said hello, did not point out a wardrobe in the somewhat narrow space, was not present and was in a hurry to move on, could not advise on a simple level regarding the choice of wine, "it was a white wine", no one ever asked if it tasted good or if it was satisfactory, no one came and asked if the drinks needed to be refilled, a woman suddenly came and cleared the table and reached over us without a single expression, no words, no one said what was going to happen next (pre-ordered 3-course menu). We approached the serious draft from the window facing the street, where we were sitting right up and down. The winter weather was really taking hold, but we asked nicely if it was possible to get another table, because it was raw cold for the legs to sit up against a leaky window at full height. It was swept away pretty quickly without making an impression.
I don't usually write reviews, and am usually pretty generous as long as people make an effort and/or are nice and friendly, and the food is reasonable, but the whole experience just wasn't good and we couldn't finish fast enough.
We won't be coming here again, although a regular a la carte evening is probably a different experience.

11/12/2023: We were going to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was store-bought food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service from what I assume is the owner was apathetic. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the impression that we were a nuisance by coming. We certainly won't bother organizing anything there again. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be a little "afraid" of her. At one point she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. That's not a particularly good signal to send to your guests.
09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called the café to see if we could use our smartbox at their place. Our smartbox was for brunch for 2 people. We were told by an employee on the phone that it was valid for both people and that we could just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we had eaten and were going over to "pay", they suddenly wanted us to pay 189 kr for the food. My boyfriend and I said that we had called and were told that the smartbox was valid for both of us. So we did not want to pay. After some time of discussing with the employees, we were allowed to leave without paying anything else.
It's a shame that it will ruin our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that café.

16/01/2026: Super cozy place down by the water, where you can enjoy coffee or light meals with a view of the marina.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's a perfect stop on a walk along the harbor.
07/01/2026: Very cozy place, where we came into the warmth on a cold day, had hot cocoa with whipped cream and could look out over the water and the harbor while the boat rocked a little every time people got on the boat.
