29/07/2026: We stopped for a sandwich lunch, and shared an elderflower herring, butter-fried fish with shrimp, chicken salad and Paris steak.
It was exactly as it should be, really good ingredients, perfectly cooked, polite service! Beautiful inn, with a touch of historical flair.
Really good value for money
21/07/2026: Great Place and fantastic food - you just can't go inside with dogs, but they are welcome and get a bowl of water without asking :-)

25/06/2026: Herthadalen provided the most beautiful setting for our summer wedding. From planning to the execution of our wedding, we were in safe hands with the sweetest staff. I would not hesitate to hold other events here again.

08/08/2026: This lovely restaurant is located in the center of Ringsted, and I ate there with a group from the Church Army.
I had a lovely 250 g steak medium rare with side dishes and 1/2 l draft beer.
The service was friendly, but not fast, and the beer was quite expensive, it cost about 75 kr.
A good recommendation from here!
08/08/2026: It was absolutely delicious. They also offer a gluten-free option, but please call 4 days in advance; we unfortunately didn't know that.

07/06/2026: A nice location and hotel on the calm sea with a nice little beach. A good spot if you’re visiting the safari park nearby. Rooms are fine but my wife suffers from dust allergy which kicked in within minutes of entering the room.
Restaurant is fine. The food is a bit out of the 90’s style and quite frankly overpriced. A nice spot to visit if you’re passing through.

01/06/2026: Overall good, a Nordic city hotel without great luxuries but it does the job. The breakfast was adequate; there wasn't everything, but I didn't miss anything. Good overall, nothing fancy.

09/08/2026: There were two of us who had lunch there. I chose one of their burgers with fries. My friend chose 5 servings from their brunch.
Everything tasted excellent. Five dishes from the brunch menu was really a lot of food.
The burger was a good size and the fries were perfect.
The service was top notch. Really friendly and accommodating staff. That's something we both really appreciate.
The place can definitely be recommended.

We were looking for something to eat at short notice and ended up at Cafe Jenners.
It was a great choice. The food and service were very good. The portions were excellent for the price. And the quality was great too. What more could you want! We would definitely go there again.

16/07/2026: Fantastic location with excellent food at fair prices. The very welcoming restaurant owner surprised us with a delicious dessert. Even our dog was thought of – with fresh water and treats. A thoroughly enjoyable visit with great service and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
28/04/2026: THE REVIEW IS FOR FAXE MADHUS WHICH IS NO LONGER THERE! Expensive taste, large portions and far too cheap prices! You get more than you pay for and if you can finish it you are among the 10% Absolute best eatery in Faxe... I have a good heart for food and every time I can get away with it, we eat in Faxe Madhus... And preferably when it's my dinner night 😀
