27/08/2026: London Pub is a really cozy and authentic pub in the middle of Boulevarden in Aalborg. Here you get a classic English pub atmosphere, a good selection of beers – including specialty beers – and a relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for a drink with friends or a quiet evening on the town.
It is an obvious place if you want to watch football, enjoy a good beer or sit outside at the many tables and feel the city life on Boulevarden. The pub is centrally located and has long opening hours: Monday 12:00–22:00, Tuesday–Thursday 12:00–24:00, Friday–Saturday 12:00–02:00, while it is closed on Sunday.
Can definitely be recommended to anyone who prefers a good pub atmosphere, specialty beers and a more relaxed alternative to the big nightclubs.

03/08/2026: Nice and cozy square. Had a good meal. Only one star less because we had to wait a very long time for our food. It wasn't even that busy. Tables outside and inside. Good menu.

12/08/2026: Nice place it is. But there was a lot of hair in our tartar and even though we apologized we were neither offered a new one nor any kind of compensation.
Tried again when we had to pay and the girl at the checkout didn't even say sorry!!!
12/08/2026: Fantastic food, large portions, very fast service, pleasant and kind staff. The advantage is the long opening hours.

15/08/2026: A rare bright spot on the menu—the mere existence of a vegan dish—was enough to lure me to Bistro V. Such an offering is an absolute rarity in Denmark, where, regrettably, culinary awareness of purely plant-based cuisine is still in its infancy.
But my initial optimism quickly gave way to profound disappointment. What was finally served reflected on the plate precisely the utter indifference with which the server had carried the food to the table.
While the dish could be considered rudimentarily edible, it fell far short of the craftsmanship, visual finesse, and depth of flavor one would expect from an established restaurant. A minimum of dedication—whether in the kitchen or to the guest—could easily have salvaged this experience. As it stands, all that remains is the memory of a carelessly presented meal and the regret over wasted potential.

Waited 45 minutes in a half-empty bistro for a burger and a sandwich.
The Danish guests who arrived after us were served first.
Is it worth it? I think not.

29/07/2024: Spiste på Kronborg på en sommerdag i Juni. Vi sad udenfor og udsigten fantastisk. Endnu mere vigtigt, så var maden dejlig og friskt!
Jeg fik selv kæmpe tartelet for at prøve det. Selv om den var kæmpe, så var det stadig med god smag og kvalitet.
