08/12/2025: I've been here a handful of times now, both with my husband alone and several times with my son. Every time we wait 20-30 minutes for the food to arrive, and with a little one it can be a challenge at times to wait that long. But we've come to know that it takes time. So I call ahead today and ask if I can place an order and that we'll be there within 10 minutes. We could. We're going to be another 5 minutes late because we can't find parking, and I call in and say so for the record. When we arrive, we can see that the restaurant is almost full, and a large party is sitting next door. It should be said that we arrive on a Monday at 11:30. So I think: "Good, I placed an order!" When we get the table, the waiter says that the order will only be placed now… So, we might as well not have called? We wait another 20 minutes. And since I am there with my child, I lose patience and go up and ask about my food. The waiter doesn't seem very happy that I ask her why the food wasn't placed when I called and why we are still waiting for our order. Maybe a good idea to remember that I am a paying customer who only gets my food 45 minutes after calling and 25 minutes after we have arrived at the restaurant, and that as a waiter you should show understanding. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience.
