08/02/2026: If you can ignore the worn appearance and somewhat tasteless decor, the place is, as my 15-year-old said, "a hidden gem!" We chose to have an early dinner to pass the time before taking the ferry and were greeted by friendly and service-minded staff. With expectations based on the appearance of the place, we ordered Wienerschnitzel and fish fillet with French fries, but were both very pleasantly surprised. The food came quickly and was piping hot, the schnitzel was made of veal, the potatoes were homemade and both were perfectly fried, and there was a nice portion of peas and good sauce. The fish was homemade breaded and the fries were crispy. So all in all, the place is proof that you should never judge a book by its cover. Because as my son muttered with his mouth full of good fries: "It's the food that counts!"

21/01/2026: The brunch was very abundant and satisfying, with generous portions. The staff was attentive and friendly, although the service was a bit slow at times. The place can get quite noisy, especially during busy hours, but overall it was a pleasant experience and worth visiting for brunch.

24/03/2026: Ordered my 70th birthday brunch in February. Ordered for 13/3 at 10:30 for 32 people, everything looked fine when we arrived. Coffee and juice were ordered for those who wanted it. The first table quickly got their food after 10 minutes, then most people at table 2 got their food after another 10 minutes. Then coffee came to table 1 and the ordered orange juice, my coffee had time to get cold before I got my milk. At table two, coffee also came to some at the table, and the rest at table 2 had not yet received their food or drink. My grandson only got his apple juice after an hour, I had also asked for it several times. At table 3 they had not yet received any food or drinks. Another 25 minutes passed. Then the food came to table 3, and there were, some, at table 1 almost finished eating. I went up to the nice young people to ask if there would be any coffee for the last guests, I was told there weren't enough pitchers, so my daughter-in-law gathered empty pitchers together so that coffee could be served to the last of my guests, then coffee cups were placed on the table, but by then we had also finished our food. I had really been looking forward to both my guests and myself celebrating my birthday. I usually always do it myself, so now I should relax. I was promised that everything would be to my satisfaction. Due to a staff shortage according to the employees, they did not have enough capacity to serve us and the other guests in the restaurant. Sorry about the poor treatment my guests received when I had praised you to the skies. I will not complain about the price, only the way my guests were served was beyond reproach. 18/12/2025: Clearly my worst food experience in 2025! Everything on the brunch plate for 159 kr. Was dry, old and backed up a few days before! Unbelievable that you as kitchen staff can ruin a brunch. The scrambled eggs were made the day before and heated in a pan so that it had crusted. Bacon soft and fried several days before. Dry day-old bread. Asked for something new and got defrosted bread from the microwave. Kitchen staff comes shuffling through the cafe with headphones in their ears and doesn't look like they want to be there. Staff just stand there looking and look like they don't want to be there either! However, the coffee and tea were good. All in all, not worth the money and the visit.

13/11/2025: A very cozy place with friendly staff. I ordered coffee and a chocolate cake, and both the coffee and the cake were delicious. I would come again.

02/09/2025: Good cafe that unfortunately changes owners like the rest of us change summer tires on our cars. But luckily they don't try to reinvent the wheel... a cafe that works. Also good for kids.

01/03/2026: Perfect place to come and have a cup of coffee after a long shopping trip. Friendly staff.
