21/11/2025: My boyfriend and I bought takeout from Kai Sushi the day before yesterday. When we got home and were about to eat, everything seemed fine at first. However, that quickly changed. The wasabi tasted strange, and our shrimp nigiri both smelled and tasted strange. I tried to eat some of the other pieces, but while chewing one of them, I suddenly felt a hair in my mouth. I immediately spat it out and saw that there was a long dark hair in the piece. Shortly after, I went outside and threw up all the food. My boyfriend called Kai Sushi, where a friendly clerk answered the phone. She apologized many times and spoke to her manager, after which they offered to make new pieces of sushi – both new shrimp nigiri and replacements for the pieces with a hair in them. My boyfriend explained that of course we didn’t want any more sushi, since I had just thrown up the whole thing and had honestly lost my appetite. Instead, we asked for our money back. The clerk spoke to the manager again, who asked us to come by with the remaining pieces of sushi, so we drove back. When my girlfriend showed the piece with the hair in it, the manager denied that it could have come from them – almost as if we had put it in the food ourselves. A longer discussion followed, during which the manager repeatedly insisted that it was not their hair. My girlfriend repeated that we wanted our money back, and in the end the manager agreed. He then said that we should not order from them again if we were dissatisfied. Later he also called me and told me that we were now excluded from their system, so we could not order from them in the future. Of course, we did not want that either, after that experience and the incredibly poor treatment. This will undoubtedly be the last time we support Kai Sushi.

06/11/2025: The best sushi I’ve ever eaten! You can go to the restaurant, which is beautiful, with a very pleasant music, and enjoy the food there with a lovely service, or you can order to take away, and enjoy it somewhere else. The quality is always amazing. They provide a perfect balance of flavours and textures in each piece. It’s really heavenly. The menu is broad, with different appetisers, and menu options both for only yourself or to share. We’ve been going here for months and we never get tired.

11/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Really good local pizzeria Vesterledds Pizzahus makes really good pizzas and is a cozy, local place in the neighborhood. There is no seating inside, so it is takeaway only, but the food is always delicious and freshly made. I can especially recommend pizza number 30 or their Hot and Spice burger – both taste great! A clear recommendation if you want good food close by

14/12/2025: Without a doubt the best pizza so far, it came immediately, perfectly hot and crispy, it's a pizza you've wanted to eat for a long time, keep it up, you're just good and talented, 10 out of 10 from here

15/10/2025: Super cozy place where you feel at home right away, great service, good drinks and a bartender who has top-notch service, come by if you want to have a good evening.

16/07/2025: Cozy little cafe where you can get refreshed after a long bike/walk. The food is standard cafe food, and you probably shouldn't go here to expand your gastronomic horizons, but with that said, the atmosphere is great, the staff and service are fantastic and the location is even better. If you're out walking in the area, or a walk on the beach, you should definitely stop and get something refreshing, but you shouldn't come from far.

05/12/2025: The food is microwaved (the meat is dry and bland) and I found hair in the food. So mixed into the food… and the waiters are too young and indifferent. It's not worth eating here. Maybe a cup of coffee would be better?

28/11/2025: A really boring experience at Café Hjulben today. We ordered 2 fish fillets, 1 children's fish and 1 Burrito that was supposed to be without mushrooms and tomatoes, which was in it, we were told 25 minutes when they received our order, after 35 minutes we allowed ourselves to move the first time, here we were told it would take 5 minutes, after 45 minutes our food was still not ready. After an hour, our food was ready, I expressed to the waiter that I didn't think it was okay and had to wait that long for the food. After which he turned around and left. It didn't seem okay when they tell us 25 minutes and you get a very sour look when you allow yourself to say something. There was no remoulade for the fish fillet and mushrooms and tomatoes in the Burrito. Even the bag was wrapped, even though we had asked for it. Maybe you shouldn't take more orders until you can see. All in all, a very disappointing experience and not one we will order from again. 😓😓😓😓😓

26/10/2025: We ordered three Bugi Burgers yesterday – they were terrible! We all got sick with stomach aches and nausea. This is not the first time the food from here has been bad. I highly recommend staying away from this place.
