10/06/2025: Stopped in for some kebab this afternoon and walked away fat and happy. Tried the kebab box and pita and both were fantastic. Packed full of meat, sauce, and veggies. Highly recommended if you're on a long layover and need a place to eat. Friendly staff!

05/06/2025: The Pearl of the Coast – a lunchtime story by the water’s edge It was one of those days off when time seems to stand still. I had a coffee appointment at two o’clock, but no other obligations – just an open morning and the desire to let my curiosity guide me. From Helgoland I strolled along the Strandpromenade, where the waves whisper stories and the sun plays on the water. And there, in the shadow of history and close to the coast, I found the pearl. The brewery in Kastrup – originally part of Fortling’s industrial empire from the 18th century – still stands with its beautiful calm and its crystal-clear view of the strait. In the middle of the old complex, where the rustle of time can still be felt in the walls, lies The Pearl of the Coast. The name couldn’t be more appropriate – because what else could a hidden little treasure by the sea be called? I went inside, even though I didn’t actually have an appointment here until later. But that’s exactly what the place can do: lure you in, informal, friendly, curious. There are no white tablecloths or stiff napkins here, but an atmosphere that balances gracefully between the lightness of a café and the thoughtfulness of a restaurant. It is rare to find places that so elegantly understand how to be both. The lunch was simple and well-prepared – like all the best things in life. Precise, tasty and at prices where you still feel like a guest and not a customer. The service was smiling, present, without being intrusive. You can sense that many of the regulars came by chance the first time – and since then have just not been able to help but return. Kystens Perle is not just a meal, but an atmosphere. A small break in time, where history, sea and heart merge into a higher unity. And I am already looking forward to returning.

25/05/2025: Amazing food and exceptional customer service. The staff were soooo accommodating and friendly. They brought in extra furniture during a very wet day. We even got some free delicious starters with the meal we ordered. Some of the best service we've had. Definitely worth a visit!

26/06/2025: We ordered Sushi ad Libetum, and it's about you marking on a piece of paper which ones you want. There are no pictures, and you really have to try hard to get the waiters' attention. So a pretty bad sushi ad libetum experience, I wouldn't recommend it for that. But the food was good.

16/05/2025: Really cozy place. Sweet, smiling and service-minded staff. We had a delicious Caesar. And a really good burger - great with homemade dressing that was right in the cupboard. Thanks for the good food.

11/06/2025: Food quality is much lower than average. After eating there, I would not return. I did not finish my meal. It was not tasty and contained low-quality ingredients. The place itself is slightly better than in the photos, but nothing special. The staff is very friendly.

01/06/2025: We were passing by and couldn't get past it. A regular eatery with tasty food. Ordered fish and chips. They brought a huge plate with a slide. The fish was not overdried, all fried - just what you need. The potatoes are just perfect - very tasty. The standard sauce for fish is crap. It doesn't emphasize any taste, and doesn't hide anything. And it's tasteless itself. It's better to order an extra sauce from the menu. Of course, you shouldn't want horseradish or spicy mustard, but mayonnaise is fine. I gave a low rating for the service because in order to get something here you have to come up and ask. Otherwise, no one bothers you.

31/05/2025: It's not the first time I order pizza here, and every time there is something wrong, today pizza walnuts and speck with speck that is not There. The pizza put in the cardboard without baking paper and obviously wet cardboard that you risked eating. Last time!

20/06/2025: The best brunch that we have had while visiting Copenhagen. The food is AMAZING. This seems like a hidden gem. The service was wonderful and it has a very nice atmosphere. I hope we get to come back while visiting.
