15/01/2026: Excellent atmosphere, incredibly friendly staff, and superb pasta. I highly recommend the Tartufo! Portions are perfectly sized, and absolutely delicious. It’s nice to sit at communal tables and enjoy the laid back aesthetic. Will surely be visiting again!

10/07/2026: Tasting dinner menu: Ravioli was okay... Prawns were okay... Pork was fatty but okay... Veal tartare was mushy and a little sickening Tiramisu was not tiramisu - more like an overly sweatened mashed Victoria sponge. Service and atmosphere was good, food was not worth the price. Dishes could be inedible for either person depending on taste, leaving each only eating from one or two dishes.

08/09/2026: It was a very enjoyable meal with attention to detail and tasty food. The bruschetta was delicious and the risotto well cooked and flavoursome. We found it by chance near our hotel and it’s one of the best meals of our trip.

22/08/2026: Delicious pizzas, it's like being in Italy. The crust is thin and they're baked in a wood-fired oven, which makes them absolutely divine. The staff are lovely.

22/08/2026: A spectacular pizza. Perfect for takeaway and to enjoy inside or on the terrace. The staff are Italian and were very friendly.

18/08/2026: I ordered mushroom and cheese pizza, very reasonable price 82 krons. The taste is decent for a quick bite. I took away the pizza and ate it on the bench at the nearby canal.

13/09/2026: Paying 1,900 DKK for two people to leave disappointed after being served cherry tomatoes, greasy tagliatelle and some of the most underwhelming food I’ve had in a long time is honestly impressive. I don’t mind spending money on a good restaurant — but this felt like throwing 1,900 DKK straight out the window. The food was genuinely terrible. Nothing we were served was even close to being memorable or particularly good. To make it worse, adding a vegetarian tagliatelle meant paying another 150 DKK on top of an already 500 DKK menu. For what was basically a plate of greasy pasta. We also waited around 15 minutes for a bottle of wine because they had to get it from their other location. Not the end of the world, but when you’re charging these prices, you’d at least expect an apology or some acknowledgement of the wait. I’m not difficult when it comes to restaurants. I don’t need a spectacular atmosphere, white-glove service or someone checking on me every five minutes. But if I go out to eat, it would be to at least to have some tasty food. This wasn’t just overpriced. It was genuinely bad value for money. I’ve had far better meals for a fraction of the price, and I wouldn’t come back even if the menu was half the price, because I would choose a shawarma or a cheeseburger , or a pasta at any place for a 150 DKK other this meal.

13/09/2026: Unfortunately, Famo Saxo was a disappointment in almost every respect. I would give it 1/5 across the board. The service was average at best and, at times, simply rude. We ordered a bottle of wine and then had to wait around 15 minutes because apparently they needed to bring it over from one of their other restaurants. Delays happen, but what bothered us was the complete lack of hospitality: not once did the waitress apologise, acknowledge the wait, or offer us anything in the meantime. Even the water costs 45 DKK per person — for tap water. Not San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, or another bottled mineral water. Tap water. The base menu was around 500 DKK, and we paid an additional 150 DKK for the tagliatelle with porcini. Unfortunately, the food did absolutely nothing to justify the price. Portions were small and every dish was remarkably average. I have genuinely had better vitello tonnato from Italian supermarkets, and you could probably fly to Italy, buy a good burrata with tomatoes, and still feel like you got better value for money. The porcini tagliatelle were particularly disappointing: plain, heavy and greasy, with what tasted like far more butter than actual porcini. The supposed steak main course was even stranger. What arrived felt more like a piece of toast soaked in fat, topped with what looked like half a filet mignon chopped into small pieces. Calling this a steak course was generous. The wine itself was okay, but again the pricing felt excessive compared with retail prices, and a large part of the wine list was well above 1,000 DKK. For that reason, the 400–1,000 DKK price indication shown on Google did not reflect what our experience of dining here actually cost. And that is really the biggest problem: it isn’t simply about the price. Expensive restaurants can absolutely be worth it when the food, service and atmosphere deliver. Here, none of them did. The entire experience felt painfully average while being priced as something special. If you want genuinely good Italian food and warm Italian hospitality, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Famo Saxo, in my experience, was plain, underwhelming and massively overpriced.

09/09/2026: Absolutely loved Spuntino! The pasta felt so light and fresh, which I loved. The Salsiccia al Funghi was amazing and they were super generous with the mushrooms. The Gamberetti was loaded with shrimp too. The pizza was delicious, and the carpaccio and arancini were definitely some of our favorites. Top service, really reasonable prices, and overall such a great experience. Loved it and will definitely be coming back! 🍝🍕🤍

27/08/2026: Horrible place. My wife and I arrived for dinner at 10:30 PM. A waiter came out who didn't speak English and explained that they were already closed, even though Google Maps said they were open until midnight! I don't recommend it. There were rats running around the restaurant!
