We are from Sweden, so the language was fun.
It is probably best left to a group of friends who want to eat and party.
17/06/2026: Everything was amazing. The waiter helped us with every question we had and also he was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately we were in transit, but if you are from Vejle or if you are just in transit as we were definitely you should try this place. 10/10

We had a great experience. The food tasted amazing and the prices were really good. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Definitely five stars from here!

08/07/2026: We had great starters - corn on the cob, chicken, wings and corn chips with guacamole and salsa. Really enjoyed them. Margaritas were a bit sickly but okay. We were really hungry so eagerly awaited the main course. Came on a platter with everyone’s main at once. The tacos turned out to be two portions each of about 6 cm diameter. Was like a canapé 😆
We left the restaurant feeling really hungry. Couldn’t order more as they said they were closing the kitchen.

22/07/2026: Beyond expectations! Having dinned throughout most of Copenhagen and at all of the Michelin rated restaurants, Sanchez is by far the best. My American palette loves spice and Sanchez delivers like no other restaurant in Copenhagen can. Tried the 5 item tasting menu in Summer of 2026. Top tip, book the chefs table to watch the kitchen.

11/07/2026: This is an awesome place to come for Mexican eats. It is located in an old meat district turned outdoor food court in Copenhagen. Authentic style Mexican food. It’s sort of a famous place to have tacos. The main restaurant is noted in a magazine “The Worlds 50 Best”.
There is basically no indoor seating at this site. Only outdoor seating in a small area. However lots of people come here for the food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The tacos were outstanding. The Tapheca is a fermented pineapple drink. It was really good as well.
05/07/2026: Came here for some tacos on a rainy day! There is very little indoor seating but tons outdoors but it was slightly rainy so that was a bit annoying.
The good side is that the tacos were delicious! I got the combo one where it gave a beef, pork, and veggie one. Pork was my favorite with the veggie being a close second.

30/04/2026: A small, nice restaurant that I have been visiting since 1990. What has changed since then is neither the interior nor the menu, but the size of the portions has decreased and the price has increased in line with the development. Some say you sit too close, as there are only two small rooms for all guests (it is almost always completely full), but I think that is part of the charm of the place. I recommend a 'Combination 7', so you can taste a little of everything!

01/01/2026: Absolutely excellent food you get here. The place has been in Hellerup for quite a few years now, but the food still tastes good. The quality is stable, and you know what you are getting. Can definitely recommend this place.

20/07/2026: I don't usually leave negative reviews for anything, however, my wife and I were genuinely shocked at how bad everything was.
I do genuinely feel sorry for the lad that was obviously doing everything himself. He seemed nice enough, but no one should have to wait tables and cook food on their own.
Unfortunately, as he had no time to do anything, this was reflected in the unbearably slow service and the poor quality food. We watched one family come and leave, and those that were there were visibly frustrated that the food was no where to be seen, or that we weren't offered any form of "So sorry to keep you waiting" or anything of that ilk.
Then there was the food that lacked more than just pasión. It's genuinely impressive how 3 different tacos managed to taste exactly the same. Nothing was inedible, there was just no reason to eat the food, especially for the price.
I have a feeling that this place would actually live up to the 5 star reviews we'd seen, if there was a chef and a waiter. But you can't run a place like that with one poor lad scurrying around on his own, doing everything and achieving very little for his efforts.
07/07/2026: Nice decor and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the mini nachos disappointed me. I was expecting more flavor and seasoning, like in Mexico. As a vegetarian, I wanted to try the vegan taco, but it was missing one of the two required ingredients. There are many vegan or vegetarian taco options that aren't just vegetables, and I think they could explore more... Price-wise, I found it a bit expensive compared to other places in the same neighborhood. It was a little sad to notice that the staff doesn't speak Spanish :(
