28/12/2024: We were at cactus and eat in December 2024. The positives first, cozy atmosphere, a place with a fun interior, lots of fun things to look at. Good space between the tables. The location is perfect, an old farm, Morten Kock describes it best. The service was friendly and sweet, English speaking. Then we come to the slightly sad, but most important part. For starters a Mexican chicken soup, it tasted good and of course, lots of chicken in it. For the main course, cactus beef and grill mix with fries. It didn't taste of anything, despite lots of salt and pepper. The sauce for the beef was so sour that we weren't sure if it was bad or just too much wine vinegar. Mix grill it said it was Greek steak, probably more Danish mince without salt/pepper. However, the roasted vegetables were ok. Fries ok. Very disappointing. We agreed that if we had stuck to Mexican it would have been much better. Finally a trip to the toilet with cramps.
