08/12/2025: This cozy family-run restaurant is worth a visit for everyone! - it doesn't matter if you are a couple, a family with children or going out to eat with your company. At Lyng Dal you feel like you are the most important guest when you come! I have never experienced such personal service anywhere else and at the same time the food is absolutely excellent.

23/11/2025: Cozy place. Fantastic birthday brunch. So delicious and homemade. Super delicious and such nice service and lovely outdoor areas.

17/12/2025: Was at a wedding party with an overnight stay at Knudhule beach hotel, and I must say that it has my warmest recommendations. The food was amazing, our waiter was great even though she was there for over 12 hours. Smiling and kept an eye on whether anyone was missing anything, without disturbing the party. The wine list that the bride and groom had chosen was exquisite, and since there were some rather special wines on it, we got a quick overview of them at the start of the dinner. Here it was clear that the staff knows what things are served, where they are from, and can convey this further, so that the experience becomes even more exquisite and special. The room we stayed in was super nice - clean and neat.

12/10/2025: Attended a meeting here and ate roast pork with parsley sauce and potatoes. Fully lived up to expectations if you're into that kind of thing.

29/07/2025: We ordered a light lunch at the hatch to the dock and ate right down to the water. Cozy place where you can follow the activity from the canoe rental and the departure of the Hjeleselskabet. Unfortunately, there were only 2 people working that day around noon and it was easy to notice. It took a long time before we got the food, which consisted of a Panini and Fish & Chips. The Panini was excellent, but prefabricated and it was not possible to choose the contents. There was confusion about delivery, as no clear number was called out. The price is on the high end, especially for Fish & Chips.

20/11/2025: Good shop for allergy sufferers. Most breads and many cakes are dairy-free. Always has a good offer.

27/09/2025: Good facility and great breakfast, can't tell the same about a member of the staff and the dinners. You can feel a considerable change in temperature inside the bedrooms (way too cold), and the only way to warm up is by a hot shower which temperature is also limited. Breakfasts are wonderful: there is quite some choice and a nice view of the outdoors. Dinners are not worth it, you pay for the service rather than the food. What ruined my stay was a particularly unpleasant member of the staff at the reception who sets an unwelcoming atmosphere every time we talked. The cherry on the top was while I made a request to a different member - she cut our conversation with hard tone to "deal" with me replacing the colleague. As a guest and also as an owner of short term rental businesses, that's not how to handle guests.
