17/09/2024: Pizza. Boring and tasteless. Tomato paste as pizza sauce and red sausages do nothing for a pizza anyway, the beef should have salt and pepper and some other kind of seasoning to add flavor, meat without this is bland. The man behind the counter seemed resigned. But the place is nice and welcoming, just a shame the pizza was the second worst I've ever eaten.

17/09/2024: Really good food, no service and a lot of noise so it was almost impossible to talk.

31/10/2024: Room wasn't cleaned once in over two weeks. Towels are only changed upon request, as is the trash can. Beds worn out, rooms very small, dark and in need of renovation. Reception is already closed in the morning and evening.

28/10/2024: Arrived at a locked door at Hotel Phønix. However, I had been given a code for the door. When I walked in and up the stairs, there was an envelope with my name on it. I took the envelope that contained my key and went up to my room. After unpacking, I went downstairs to get a cup of coffee, but everything was closed... So it was not possible to get a cup of tea, or coffee... You couldn't get dinner either, so went out to Brønderslev to find a place to eat. But after reading the other reviews about this place, maybe it was better too. After my dinner, I went back to the hotel and went to bed. The next morning when I got up I went into the bath and turned on the water.....but there was no hot water!! I turned on the shower and let the water run....After 4 minutes, it still hadn't gotten hot. The water in the sink wasn't hot either... So a hotel where you can't eat or drink anything, and with cold water in the hot tap, without any kind of service, it's not a place I want to come again. However, the breakfast was of a reasonable nature, but I cannot recommend this place. If you have difficulty walking, do not choose this hotel as there are many stairs and no elevator.
