23/01/2026: Got two durum delivered 30 minutes late. Both were completely inedible. Poor quality meat, they were roasted and heated so much that all the vegetables were completely cooked through. The bread was soggy that the rolls fell apart

01/12/2025: Systematized durum (kebab) review. 21 points total. Durum cost 59 kr (lunch offer). The bread (0-3 points): 2 points (the bread is homemade but it was not freshly baked. The bread is made from pizza dough, and is therefore quite thick - too thick in my opinion. If the bread had been freshly baked, thinner and a little burnt, it would have received 3 points) The salad (cucumber, tomato, lettuce and onion), 0-2 points: 2 points (good, even distribution) Some free extras (e.g. red cabbage, hummus, taboula), 0-1 point: 1 point (pickled red cabbage) The meat (0-5 points): 3.5 points (the meat is nicely seasoned and grilled. The meat is of good quality. However, the meat was a bit too dry for my taste, which is probably because the meat was not freshly trimmed. There was also too little of it, see picture 2). The chili (0-2 points): 2 points (really good flavor, nice strength) The dressing (0-2 points): 1 point (standard light creme fraiche. There should have been a little more of it. The bread is very thick and there should therefore be a little extra dressing to compensate for the dryness) The quantity / how full you were (0-2 points): 2 points (nice fullness) Service (0-1 point): 1 point (fast service, friendly staff) The price (0-3 points, where 3 points are 30-40 kr., 2.5 points are 40-50 kr., 2 points are 50-60 kr., 1.5 points are 60-70 kr., 1 point is over 70 kr.): 1.5 points 15/21 points = 3.6 stars —> rounds up to 4 stars out of 5.

29/11/2025: Nice staff who give free refills on water, lots of dressing and smiles on their faces. No noisy and annoying music. Will definitely come again

23/11/2025: Seems like a family run business. The atmosphere and spirits are always high and the service polite. Always feel welcome. The quality of the food is good, very much in line with what Danes want when they order pizza.

15/11/2025: Had a steak from the a la carte section of the menu. The steak was a little overcooked but the portion was adequate, the salad and sautéed vegetables were good and the gorgonzola sauce was the icing on the cake. The staff was very service minded and friendly

11/10/2025: I absolutely loved thi restaurant! The food was delicious — the crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the sauce had amazing flavor. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. The whole place had a cozy atmosphere that made the experience even better. Definitely coming back again!

12/02/2026: Yes, paying more than 200kr. for a pizza seems a lot, but the sky high quality is unmatched by any other pizza reataurant in Copenhagen - or even in Denmark - and I've had a few (including Bæst, Fumo, Corsa, Luca, Dal Forno etc.).

11/02/2026: Surt is easily one of my favorite pizza spots in Copenhagen. Located in the heart of the historic Carlsberg district (right by the elephants), it offers a world-class experience that manages to be both cozy and incredibly high-quality. The Magic of the Dough The founder, Giuseppe Oliva (who helped start Bæst), is a true master. The name "Surt" means "sour" in Danish, referring to their 100% sourdough process with no industrial yeast. The result is a crust that is light, perfectly charred, and much easier to digest than your typical pizza. It’s exactly as good as the hype suggests. The Ingredients & Authenticity What makes Surt stand out is the blend of local organic produce and premium Italian imports. • The Hindsholm Pizza: My absolute favorite. The pork sausage from the Hindsholm pigs is incredible, especially with the fermented chili. I’ve tried several others across many visits, and the quality never slips. • Authentic Vibe: You can really feel the Italian roots here. Using ingredients sourced directly from Italy makes the flavors feel truly authentic, yet it fits perfectly into the modern, industrial vibe of Carlsberg Byen. A Couple of "Local" Suggestions • The Sharing Factor: I love the concept, but I wish they wouldn't "force" the sharing experience quite so much. Sometimes you just want all the pizzas brought to the table at the same time unless asked otherwise! • Lunch Hours: Honestly, the only other negative is that they aren't open for lunch, why keep this goodness just for the evening? (Haha, but seriously!)

26/12/2025: Around a hundred pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. It was delicious and comforting. A great place!

17/10/2025: We ordered pasta with mushrooms and a pizza with potatoes. The pasta was not even cooked al dente, and the sauce was cream and not the typical Italian sauce of parmesan and pasta water, and it was a very small portion. The pizza dough was chewy and very small, there was not much flavor in it and we were not full in any way. I will NEVER buy food there again.

22/12/2025: There were two chefs working there, Dogan and I think his name was Salahaddin. They were very polite and skilled at their jobs. We ordered five different pizzas and a hamburger to share. They were all delicious. I will definitely go again at the first opportunity. I recommend it...

25/01/2026: Bought a plank steak, the steak tasted and smelled like old meat. Ate 1 piece and threw the rest out. Got a stomach ache today. Leave it to me.

20/10/2025: A really good campsite, with good playgrounds for children. Lots of options also renting both caravans and cabins. The service building is nice and well maintained and the cleaning is top notch. Lots of options there.

15/10/2025: Fantastic pizzas. We absolutely love US pizza (deep pan). It does cost a little more, but it is more than worth it with fantastic taste and good balance between filling and base. We always buy pizza at Marselis when we are in Aarhus.
