30/12/2025: Large selection of cakes. We got three large rustic buns with filling for 20 kr. because it was Tuesday. That's a good price.
The buns are large, thick, juicy and flavorful. They are very airy for thick buns and have a good amount of seeds. They could use a little more salt, though. The service was sweet, smiling and accommodating despite being very busy.
The prices are reasonable and the bakery is well-visited. There is good parking right outside.
The macaroon slice was really good - both crispy and juicy.
The rum ball had chocolate cake on the outside and was clearly made with cake leftovers like in the old days, but it was a bit boring.
21/12/2025: The sourdoughbread tastes great and the cashier was patient with my (very) little Danish. Unfortunately the kartoffelkage was already empty

26/11/2025: I had a really lovely experience here. The staff were so sweet, friendly and welcoming. You really feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food was delicious and flavourful, and everything was served with a smile. The place itself is cosy and has a relaxed atmosphere, making it a perfect choice for a little pampering evening.
I can definitely recommend the place – I would definitely come back!

17/12/2025: We have been repeat guests at Køge Bugt Kro for over 30 years and we keep coming back.
Good Danish food is of course a draw in itself, but it also makes a huge difference to us that they are not stingy but serve plenty to fill most people and do it with a smile.
Good service and a nice atmosphere are standard here. The waiters are genuinely interested in you as a customer feeling comfortable and wanting to come back.
The place is a gem in the Vestegnen region and we have even brought several of our friends and family here, and they have also started coming back themselves.
08/12/2025: Fresh and friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommended 👍🏾😃👌 We were 6 guys there who got food and drinks and were all full and satisfied when we left.

16/11/2025: I needed 12 sandwiches for the company, as we were sending a colleague on maternity leave.
On Friday I was told that I could certainly order, but that I would have to pay extra for delivery to Stenløse. We really wanted that.
But on Sunday we were told that they couldn't deliver anyway, as they don't make such "long" trips.
Fortunately, SPRØD in Roskilde was able to help – even with the short notice that it suddenly was.

01/01/2026: My husband and I were recommended to try Sunset Boulevard by our teenager. She is right: it is much better than the other big American burger chains that start with M or B.. So: Sunset Boulevard's burgers tasted much better, the fries were deliciously spicy and therefore tasted more interesting than the ones you get at M ....and there was a refill on soda. And the staff was VERY welcoming, fast and at the same time very nice and helpful. Easy screen to place an order on. Worked very well and clearly. Easy option to deselect or add something to your burger, for example. if you didn't want tomato or mayo in it. The place is nicely decorated and clean, both tables, chairs and toilets. Good atmosphere among the employees, who also wished us a good evening when we left. Can recommend this place rather than going to Mac'en or B.K. which in comparison appear discount/a bit boring. Sunset here in Greve surprised me very positively.
