31/03/2024: I went to Easter lunch with the family, where all five of us had the restaurant's very well-prepared Easter lunch, for which local ingredients were used.
They are large, bright rooms and the service is top-class, from the very sweet and
welcoming ladies!
24/03/2024: 5 stars all the way! Lovely welcoming staff, and super service!
The chef has such a sense of taste, the food is fantastic!

Wildtiere, unterirdisches Café, leckeres Bier, leckere Sandwiches, aber sehr klein. Sehr gemütlich!!!
01/04/2024: A quaint little restaurant with a small café and shop. The breads, cookies and cakes on offer are home-baked and beautiful. Overall, a great little shop with fair prices and a friendly staff.

The Cottage

10/12/2023: Via the Happy Days self-drive company, we booked a pub weekend in May 2022, and a similar one in October 2023!
A wonderful place! It is an English teacher who is said to have designed and had this hotel built.
There you eat both breakfast and dinner, the rooms are in extensions on the side. It is a small room for two with a kitchenette, coffee/kettle, household utensils in the cupboards, a fridge and toilet with shower.
The food is super good, the chef must never stop! It takes too much space to write here, but book and drive there and experience it yourself!!
You can bring your dog with you!

I receptionen blev vi modtaget af en meget venlig og smilene dame, som med det samme spurgte, hvad børnene ville ha' at spise, næsten alt kunne lade sig gøre.
Værelserne var fantasifuldt og hyggeligt indrettet, badeværelset ordentligt og rent.
Maden blev opfattet, af os, som gourmet mad, skøn overraskelse. Husets vin god.
Det er en meget hyggelig kro, syntes vi alle 9, fin restaurant med ild i pejsen.
Vi er alle enige om, at der må vi ned igen.

12/10/2023: Now in October it is quiet and tranquil here in Marielyst. On the last evening we wanted to have a leisurely meal. And eating here was the best decision! The spaghetti bolognese, the plank steak and the Copenhagen burger were very tasty….⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for everything! Mega tasty…and the service was very accommodating and warm! We recommend

21/03/2024: Too average Italian Restaurant, the veal I was served was less than pleasing. Then came a tomato sauce, which taste all left to the puré, felt like it was a barrel bough industrial sauce, with tray backed potatoes and veggies cut in rectangular piece. It was not impressive! What amazed me was the place was full, I be frank I won't be back unless, like the day I came it was with friends. Then I, if returning choose a pizza, as the main course are not impressive.
08/03/2024: I got a chicken sandwich (99 NOK) that was good and tasty. But the chicken slices were less exciting and resembled marinated semi-finished products. I prefer (at that price) that the meat is stringier from the breast.
The acoustics are harsh and mean that there is generally a lot of noise in the room.
It adds up that you can buy a large jug of water with ice and lemon for NOK 25 (and if it needs to be filled up, it's not a problem).

03/01/2024: A small snack on the premises of the hardware store. The service was super friendly and competent. The prices are great in relation to the performance. The Pølse Mix was great and the large portion was very large. Everything was great and recommended.
08/10/2023: A hot dog costs the equivalent of 4 euros (30 DKK). Very tasty with everything that goes with it. For a quick snack on the way to the ferry, we recommend the snack bar!
