16/06/2025: Great atmosphere down in Køge. The food tasted really good :)

05/06/2025: Good sushi, but extremely slow service. If there would be a 0 star in service I would probably choose that. Have been sitting here for more than an hour and I’ve received half of my first (modest order of 20 sushis) order. We’ve chosen the “all you can eat menu” but hard to do it when there’s nothing to eat really. First and last time coming here. The staff must be extremely poorly organized since most people around are waiting as well, and there seems to be many people in the kitchen as well as more than sufficient waiters. Quite disappointing and rather frustrating. Not worth it.

21/03/2025: Got the veal fillet in champion sauce, the meat was quite inedible. Filled with sinew and rubber consistency. It is a very worn restaurant and the hosts should wear clean clothes when it is a restaurant with service. 5 stars because I was with my husband.

11/01/2025: Cozy place with nice hosts. Alberto, who together with his wife runs the place, is super nice. Their pizzas in particular are wonderful, they are baked in a wood-fired oven. Good thing we have them here in Borup.

10/07/2025: Reasonable without blowing you away. You don't have to wait too long for the food and the quality is acceptable. We took advantage of the lunch offer.

06/07/2025: Once again a lovely evening at lucky star, with the most delicious sushi!! Of all the sushi restaurants in Köge, this is definitely a favorite. Super good service, sweet and helpful♥️ highly recommended!

03/07/2025: Bad experience – disappointing quality I was really disappointed with the food here. The pizza was completely tasteless and made with cheap products — the ham looked like something you could buy in Netto, and tasted like it. There was absolutely no sign of quality. I also ordered a spaghetti carbonara, and it was no better. Completely tasteless, the bacon was poorly cooked and I honestly doubt whether it is even made with eggs, as they claim. All in all, a pretty sad experience, and I cannot recommend the place to others.

23/06/2025: After seeing the review from Casper Drømme, we had to try the place - "see what it could do" We ordered "green døner" and it was REALLY good. Was asked about chili - yes please a little, and it was perfectly balanced. Everything fresh and the bread was really delicious. Friendly service. Thanks for the experience - will come again when I visit Køge.

12/06/2025: Me and my son were going to eat at their place, but I regret it because employees were smoking cigarettes outside and went in and made my son's pita without washing their hands or wearing gloves.

11/05/2025: Food is below average in taste and authenticity. Quality of the produce is good tho. But it is not the Indian or Pakistani flavors . Who puts raisins in biryani ? Maybe someone does but I have never seen biryani with raisins in Pakistan. Pakoras which were served during Iftar had carrots ? Never had pakoras with carrots in my entire life. Tasteless too. Butter chicken ? This restaurant can ask me to come and make butter chicken for them one day , it’s 10x better than theirs. And I use Shan masalas. Naan is good. Service is good the Danish staff they’ve hired is very polite. It’s a good seating area in a nice part of Koege.

09/05/2025: The menu card has become significantly shorter and simpler than when I was here a year ago. We bought "all you can eat". But it ended up being "all you have time to eat" after 1.5-2 hours we gave up. Here they had been able to deliver 3 naan breads to the table. From the time we got the first dishes it took 20 minutes before the first naan bread arrived at the table. We didn't manage to get warm curries with the naan bread. I no longer feel that there is value for money. You can still order a lot at other Indian restaurants before reaching DKK 259, which this restaurant requires for "all you have time to eat"

22/05/2025: Ate pizza no. 92 on 19.5.25 Two hours later I had to go to the toilet🤮🤮and a really thin stomach, the result was that I felt really bad for three days before I started eating again, otherwise it was water and crispbread🤮🤮I ​​just say PRAISE.

06/06/2025: Can you choose half a star? Siesta offered a great deal, 50% off for dads on Father's Day! They probably ruined many families' evenings too. We sat 7 people and waited 55 minutes for our food, we also waited for the table to be cleared, both never happened. We had to get up and leave, we went to what we assume is the owner of the place. He didn't think it was fair that we didn't want to wait any longer, despite having been sitting for 55 minutes. The service was terrible, the tables near ours were talking in disdain about how bad this place is. The owner or face of the place, "we'll never do an offer like that again". No good idea, you clearly can't run a restaurant. All in all, a crappy experience, and definitely, definitely the last time I set foot there. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

31/05/2025: Got a table, waited 25 minutes for drinks, then waited another 43 minutes for the food / it didn't look good I would say, the food was ok though, that could make up for the bad times. PS it was definitely not full house, on the contrary.

27/07/2025: There were no toilet paper in any of the stalls. I had to use the cardboard from a roll.

20/07/2025: Not a dry eye here, the food was hot and tasty 😁

21/06/2025: I have never in my life experienced such an arrogant, incompetent and downright rude employee as the one I was met by in your store in Køge. I will not hold back on this complaint, because the service (or lack thereof) I received was simply embarrassing for your company. I asked for a large salad of my own choice, which I wanted to put together myself due to life-threatening allergies (pineapple, carrots, broccoli, etc.). It is not rocket science, it is about common sense and basic customer service. Yet I was met by an employee who: - Spoke to me condescendingly, as if I were an annoying burden. - Refused to comply with a simple request, even after I explained that it was about my safety. - Refused to help, even though I offered to pay extra to solve it. What the hell is going on? Is it really your standard to ignore customers' health and treat them like unwanted background noise? I've bought salads in many places, and no one has ever been so disrespectful to my allergies. It's not just bad service, it's downright dangerous to be so indifferent. If this is your attitude towards customers, then you don't deserve a single penny from me. I have always shopped with you with trust, but now that trust is completely broken. If you don't take this seriously, I guarantee that I will publicly warn others not to visit your store. I expect an apology and a guarantee that your staff will figure out how to treat customers with respect in the future, especially when it comes to allergies. Otherwise, you can count on me not coming back and that I will do everything I can to ensure that others don't either. If I could give 0 stars, I would have done so

23/07/2025: Super good food but unfortunately there were some things that I was glad we asked a few times. My wife has lactose intolerance and therefore it is very important that she does not get anything with milk in it. They did not have it completely sorted out so we asked a few times and therefore fortunately it did not go wrong. Got some mussels where one was not open. Instead of getting a new portion they just peeled the one that was not open and put another. Otherwise everything else was just in the cupboard but the food needs a bit of work in terms of knowledge about allergens!! It is super important because you can really get sick and ruin your evening and in the worst case also the days after

29/06/2025: Both the fish and the potatoes had been cooked for far too long, but that was perhaps due to the waiters being quite inattentive. Also, the noise level was high - just like the prices...

05/07/2025: Bought a tuna sandwich and was looking forward to the tuna mousse. It was too soggy to eat, why put pesto in an already very soggy sandwich and the avocado was not ripe. Sad sandwich where the paper around the sandwich was completely dissolved because it was so wet and soggy. Really disappointed

20/04/2025: I bought a chicken kebab which tasted terrible. the meat was cold and was from the freezer. The salad was old and smelly. We paid DKK 100 for a menu and only ate fries and the kebab was thrown out after the first bite.
