08/05/2025: We should have been to the neighboring café yesterday, but their kitchen was closed - we were glad of that! 🤗 My boyfriend said he thinks it's the best burger he's ever had in his life. I got pasta with truffle in it and my first thought was that I wouldn't be able to taste it, but I could! The portion was large and I took the rest home - sooo delicious and it won't be the last time we come there. Really sweet and funny hostess/waitress.

07/07/2025: We came with 3 people and a service dog, we were rejected already at the entrance when the person on site claimed that Service dogs do not have access, when we explained that according to the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's §12.1 it states that Service dogs HAVE access to restaurants and that it is discriminatory to reject people with Service dogs, then the person insisted that we had to leave the place. So I definitely can NOT recommend this place, I would rather suggest taking the trip to e.g. Havfruen in Korsør which is approx. 15-20 minutes drive from Vemmelev.

05/07/2025: When a person from northern Jutland like me passes by Zealand, I usually think about whether I have time to swing by one of my favorite pizzerias, I recommend pizza with kebab, sausages with dressing

28/06/2025: The bread wasn't even warm, way too much lettuce (about 75% of the bread was filled with lettuce) and had almost no chili in it.

28/03/2025: What a shop. What a personality. What a kind soul behind the counter. I rarely write reviews for anything. But when I do, there is a very special reason for it. They had closed half an hour ago when I showed up. The two nice gentlemen were sitting and chatting while enjoying a nice Friday evening. However, I thought they were open, since the lights in the shop were on. When I asked if they were still open, they answered "No". But instead of dismissing me like all the other mediocre kebab places in Slagelse, the chef jumps into the shop and says "But I would like to make you something". What did I get that was worth giving five stars for? A treatment that embraced you like a friend or family member. A fun and interesting conversation, with lots of laughter, and a meeting with the most humble and respectful man in Slagelse and the surrounding area. (Of course also a good kebab, with delicious dressing and a super delicious round of homemade red cabbage) Is five stars too high for a super restaurant, with great service and lower prices for pita kebab than the other places in Slagelse that charge 25-35 percent more for something that is 5 times worse? Definitely not. But don't take my word for it. Try it yourself and form your own opinion. Either way, I've got a new favorite place to get my Pita Kebab. Stjernekebab - see you again soon ♥️

20/07/2025: Their restaurant is far below average. Small portions and their so-called shooting stars are the worst and smallest version I have ever had. And only 1 fish fillet, and it was so thin that there was almost no fish, besides the breading. Shrimp were full of shells and other crap. That's what they had according to the kitchen. Really poor 🤬👎👎👎👎👎👎

06/07/2025: Bad place. No respect for the customers. My pasta carbonara was tasteless and the chef couldn't stand criticism. He says it should taste like pasta. But carbonara doesn't just taste like pasta. He asked me jokingly how does carbonara taste? Honestly what kind of question is that!, I can't say what carbonara tastes like. And then he laughed at me jokingly. Seriously!

17/06/2025: Worst service ever. The man at the cash register didn't even bother to look up. He just said the price and looked at his phone. Bought 4 pizzas. The crusts were tough and dry, there wasn't much filling and the bacon was raw. Corner used to be a good place, but this was the last time we visited the restaurant.

23/07/2025: Their kebab doesn't taste like anything, a bit of a shame when it's called kebab palace. But service and everything else was fine.

03/08/2025: Overpriced for family pizza 270kr I won't go there anymore. It's not good enough. And those are not the prices listed online.
