10/11/2025: Mortensaften, roast duck arh, that's not good enough, a piece of barberry duck breast, in my world not roast duck. Brown potatoes completely devoid of flavor, the highlight was the sauce, it was edible not amazing, but reasonable.

10/11/2025: We went to Morten's evening menu on November 9. Roast duck with brown and white potatoes and orange sauce and ice cream for dessert kr 199. But I have to say it was not worth the money and left with a very flat feeling. A piece of duck breast that was quite boring and browned potatoes without flavor and white potatoes I think they were glass potatoes they tasted quite boring. The sauce was ok. But it was only lukewarm. The dessert was ok. We will find another place next year.

24/11/2025: Super nice little bakery with a good selection of tasty bread. The staff is welcoming and it just smells lovely when you walk in the door.

27/09/2025: Sct.Michael 2025. With Frederik Liberti. And great concert with Megaphones.. Lots of good seating, outside the door, on the square. Nice party and atmosphere, with lots of people, and good service.

09/08/2025: Pasta signature - vegetarian, without chicken version possible - was absolutely perfect. Creme Brulee as well. There is nothing to add, when everything what you got is simply perfect. Bellisimo! What else to say here.

16/07/2025: I had a pizza emiliata here and I have to admit it was a huge disappointment. The pizza looked and tasted like a frozen pizza, with some of the most rubbery parmesan cheese I have ever had. I cannot recommend this place – it is expensive and very mediocre.

21/10/2025: Friendly and really warm reception. And then there is the taste of the food. I would and can strongly recommend it if your path crosses Skælskør.

23/11/2025: Super nice conditions and clean and neat rooms. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and a super delicious breakfast buffet with a lovely view of nature and water :)

13/11/2025: Quite an ok hotel. Classic design and nice. But it's lacking in a few things that are considered essential for someone who travels a lot. Latest check-out at 10 am is 1 hour too early. Non-blackout curtains are a no-go for me. And if I understood correctly that breakfast is only from 8-9 am, that's not perfect either (with the exception of misunderstanding about breakfast).

21/10/2025: They are incredibly slow to refill, we had brunch. They ran out of tea water and I had to ask twice for it.

13/09/2025: There were three of us who visited Rib House and it was a very unfortunate experience. My steak smelled sweet/rancid when it was served – clearly rotten meat covered in garlic to mask the smell. I took one small bite and the taste was decidedly unappetizing. Then we looked through the other plates and discovered a potato with brown spots and a lemon so dry it couldn’t be squeezed. The two young waiters did what they could, but the chef wouldn’t come out and instead had the waiter take the trash and explain that it was due to “adrenaline from butchering”. It seemed like an excuse they had used before and the whole experience was very suspicious. None of us had an appetite afterwards and we ended up leaving. Definitely not a place I can recommend.

28/07/2025: Held a memorial gathering. Nice setting. Beautiful and well-buttered finger foods with fresh cold cuts. Delicious homemade pretzels. Enjoyed in lovely, bright surroundings - thank you.

16/08/2025: Compared to years ago, we experienced that the level of the food (what we got) has unfortunately dropped. First fish soup, the taste was good but we missed pieces of fish, then a fish lasagna for my wife, which was not particularly successful and the accompanying salad was not fresh - I had a piece of marinated herring, where you (I) expected an old-fashioned matured herring with good taste. It was not that, it was tough and boring. We sat in the garden, where the service was fast and nice and the atmosphere was good. A cozy place.

11/09/2025: We stopped by the restaurant for a café latte because of its beautiful location. The staff weren't particularly motivated, or rather overwhelmed. It took forever to even ask what we wanted, and then another long time for the café latte to arrive, even though it wasn't busy. The table was still covered in crumbs and hadn't been wiped down, and I was very sad about the flower boxes hanging from the railing by the tables...all the plants were completely withered and dry.... Unfortunately, that made a very bad impression. Better not to have any plants at all 🙈
