09/08/2026: My guide to eating here: 26/8 Edit: it is now possible to pay with card - yeah! Bring cash - if you cannot pay with Mobile Pay. Don’t be fooled by the slightly unfortunate pictures of the food. It’s bad pictures with good food, not the other way around. Order a burger AND some fries. The fries are too good to skip. Order wisely: even the smallest burger has a lot of meat. Grab yourself a drink from the fridge. Make ample use of the napkin. You will need it. Use your cutlery. This is not a hands on burger. Wash your hands, the bathroom is nice and clean. Repeat. We stumbled upon Amelie’s Burger while searching for dinner. I was surprised to see such a good rating for a burger shop in Faaborg, of all sorts. However, the food is excellent. The burger meat has not been frozen, so the patties are fresh and juicy. You cannot compare that to the dry, grey matter that you get elsewhere. Burger buns are toasted and fresh, they go along very nicely with the meat. The burger is a good combination of different flavors. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. The atmosphere is not particularly stylish, but inviting and clean. Definitely a gem in such a small town. Be sure to visit this place!

09/08/2026: Amelies Burgers is the place to be if you're in the mood for a delicious burger. The staff spoke good English since I don't speak a word of Danish. The food was carefully prepared and well served. I ordered number 8 at the counter (Chicken Burger menu). The food was served quickly at the table. The chicken burger was delicious; a good, tender chicken breast burger, good flavorful bacon, and fresh vegetables. With plenty of homemade sauce. The fries were a bit too salty in my opinion, but otherwise tasted very good, golden brown and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We sat comfortably inside as a group; the atmosphere was cozy and there was nice decor. So if you are ever in the area and are in the mood for a good burger, you should definitely stop by.

22/08/2026: Dinner today. All in all a sublime experience. Friendly and attentive service, delicious food, the Iberico cutlet is highly recommended. Good space between the tables. We will be back!

07/08/2026: There were 4 of us for brunch, got smoothies, coffee, salmon sandwiches, and what I would like to give 5 stars for, namely their brunch. Here we got good bread, rye bread with 3 kinds of tasty cheeses, cold cuts, homemade hummus and a really good compote. (And more). It was all tasty and a good experience. Highly recommended. When we arrived it could be difficult to find a seat. But this was only understandable with the good food they served 😀

08/05/2026: Really lovely Inn close to a stream so you can hear the water running. Really delicious food and good service. Nice rooms.

05/05/2026: Lovely little gem.. All photos are taken within 150 meters from the hotel. Rooms are generous and cleaned every day. Wonderful staff. The surroundings are calm and with a porling water with birds. There are Storksnest and the bird on the picture is a Heron. The food they serve on the evening is really good the breakfast is not continental but its fine.

06/08/2026: Very good food and service! We had steak that was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The side dishes and red wine sauce were also well prepared. An extra plus for the salad plate that was served with the food.

21/07/2026: My husband and I both ordered Ribs and our friend ordered the salad. Big mistake! When we weee served, my friend got a burger instead of salad. We had to tell them that it was incorrect. The ribs took 1 hr to prepare and they turned out salty and without flavour. The sauce that was there was the only thing that tried to cover the bad flavour. But even the sauce was extremely slim. Both my husband could not complete our food. I asked them to take mine away because it was horrible. When it came to payment, we were FORCED to pay for the entire amount because hey claim that others were happy with the taste and the service . Of If I were you, DO NOT get your hopes high on the ribs and don’t expect much from the service.

28/07/2026: That was a good experience We took two pancakes with us to eat them on the ferry. The pancake was quite large and tasted great. The filling was delicious and there was plenty of it. It all went together nicely. There was more than enough food for one person. Cheap at 130,-. The overall experience was excellent. Cozy place that invites you to stay and eat on the spot. Then it's just a matter of getting started on experiencing all the other pancake dishes in the company of the good service.

10/08/2026: Beautiful location with a cozy terrace and a stunning view, but unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. My pork skewer was served cold. My wife is vegetarian, but it turned out there was no vegetarian main course available. As an alternative, it was suggested that we only eat the side salad and fries. We did not consider that a suitable solution. The menu was exclusively in Danish, and the staff were unwilling to help with it. In the end, we had to translate everything ourselves using Google Translate. Of course, that works, but it doesn't feel very welcoming or service-oriented. Furthermore, after the meal, we had to wait about 15 minutes to pay the bill. The staff walked past several times without responding, after which we eventually walked to the bar ourselves to pay, where we had to wait again. It's a shame, because the location and atmosphere are really beautiful, but due to the mediocre service, we won't be coming back here anytime soon.

09/08/2026: We had delicious mussels served in a superb dill sauce/soup. We'll definitely be back! The food was perfect! 👍

18/08/2026: I bought Spaghetti Bolognese and a Pita Kebab. The Kebab was ok, lacked a little spice, but was ok (3 stars) but the meat sauce from the Spaghetti was not to my taste.

07/08/2026: We went to have a quick dinner after spending the day at the Egeskov Castle, and we were greatly surprised by the service and the nice pizzas , very quickly served.

06/08/2026: I visited the restaurant today and ordered an appetizer and a main course. Fresh ingredients, well-cooked. I really enjoyed it. The quality is evident, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend it.

30/07/2026: Unfortunately I only have the opportunity to review the service, as I didn't get any food, let alone the atmosphere Had the boring experience of first asking the one girl at the table if there is room for one? She just says a moment and then goes over and receives payment from someone. Then another girl approaches two young guys standing BEHIND me and is informed that a table will be available soon.
