15/11/2025: Lovely hotel that my partner and I always use when we visit family in town. We always look forward to coming back because of the lovely atmosphere, comfortable rooms and an absolutely fantastic breakfast buffet with freshly made eggs and where no expense has been spared on the ingredients.
23/10/2025: We had the pleasure of spending two nights at this hotel. The owner was a very nice man who took care of us.
We had to check out very early and wouldn't have had any breakfast. The owner simply left us the kitchen key so we could make ourselves some sandwiches.

07/10/2025: Best BLT I have ever had and I am from the US. Bread was amazing, highest possible ingredients. Loved the bacon. Wish I lived closer and I would stop by daily for lunch.
27/09/2025: The fish and chips were delicious (great dill sauce). Had a lovely conversation with the friendly owner. Clean bathrooms. Cloth towels are a nice touch. But best of all was the Fru non-alcolic beer🍺 Best near beer I've ever tasted. Danish made. Tastes like a Belgian ale. Highly recommend this spot! 👍🏻👍🏻

Super Brugsens Café

13/08/2025: Self service with in or outside tables. Coffee and pie can be ordered insided of the super Brufsen supermarket and you can drink and eat it outside. Totally recommendable.
26/07/2025: Best experience in Brugsen. You can get coffee from the vending machine and buy delicious cake 🤩 I chose a nut triangle and it was super delicious 😋

10/11/2025: My wife and I had an amazing time at Grand House Burger. The service was very friendly, we got out food quickly even though there were a few other tables and only one person managing the whole restaurant. The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious. I wish we were staying in Rudkøbing longer because this place was something special. Absolutely worth a visit.
09/11/2025: They advertise take-away, almost never answer the phone. When they do, they are rude, have a bad attitude, just say "we don't do take-away today" in a harsh tone and hang up. This is not the first time this has happened.

02/01/2026: When we ordered a schnitzel at this café, it tasted as if it was spoiled. The meat had a strong smell of oil that had clearly been used for other dishes and tasted very bad. The potatoes were also completely soaked in oil. When we told the waitress about this, she was very irritated. For two people and two schnitzels, we paid 90 euros. Crazy
10/11/2025: Great food, would have liked a more present service experience. Interior of restaurant is beautiful. Good spot for a romantic evening!

10/11/2025: Perfect lunch spot. Food was delicious and fresh. The lady running the place is very sweet. Would recommend!
21/10/2025: The burgers and the polenta mix were very good. We tried the chicken, fish, garlic, and bacon burgers.
The service was good, and we were served in German.
I'm deducting one star. I found the patty on my burger 🍔 to be a bit overcooked and therefore dry.

18/10/2025: Fantastic cozy café. We had old-fashioned apple cake and plum crumble/ice cream, with hot cocoa, super delicious. The dog was welcome (we sat outside). Really worth a visit. Afterwards we went for a walk in Tranekær castle garden, also a beautiful place.
15/10/2025: My family and I visited the Café here for dinner, to get a bite to eat. We order food, and are disappointed to say the least when the food arrives. According to the lady who served us, all the food in their kitchen was homemade, with home-grown ingredients. Which was clearly not true. During the meal, we find little guests in our sandwich, three small aphids, still alive, in the middle of our lunch.
When we approach an employee regarding the aphids, she sweetly says that we can deduct 45 kroner from the bill “for the extra proteins”.
Can't recommend.

03/09/2025: Expensive campsite outside the high season.
We stayed 1 night. 2 adults in a small hiking tent. No electricity.
At arrivel he said we pay 20 euro,s ( i should have paid upfront😅)
The day we left is was 35 euro,s!
I feel scamed
So never again
Large places, outdated sanitair facilitys.

11/01/2026: The worst pizzas we've ever had. There was way too much cheese on all five pizzas we ordered. I agree that there is cheese on a Margherita, but it shouldn't be shiny yellow with cheese and you should be able to taste the tomato sauce. You should also order well in advance. We were told it would take 35-40 but it took at least 20 minutes more. Too bad.

Rude owner. And not present at check out
15/10/2025: It's not a traditional Danish hotel, so it's a different experience. The hosts were super friendly and they made dinner for us when we were late home after a trip - out of season.
The place itself is eclectic and we took a lot of pictures so we could remember with a smile on our faces.
It's a bit accessible and it's close to beautiful walks.
Nice with the outdoor areas that gave privacy and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful starry sky.

10/02/2025: Dybendal is a lovely open-minded place to come in, with good service and happy people, opposite there is a butcher and there you can buy an experience of different food which you of course eat and enjoy in Dybendal.

Alle dårlige anmeldelser blev – i den grad – gjort til skamme😊
Mange tak for en fantastisk god oplevelse:
• Værelserne var fine og rene med gode senge/madrasser.
• Dejlig kaffe og kage ved ankomst.
• Adgang til en formidabel fiskebuffet med et dejligt stort udvalg - ovenikøbet i ”eget” lokale!
• Høflig, venlig og hurtig betjening.
• God morgenmad og hurtig glad afregning.
Jeg er sikker på, at vi alle vil vende tilbage for igen at opleve jeres fantastiske koncept😊
