07/08/2025: It's quite impressive how spirit and empathy can be tasted and felt in the food you eat and the place you are in. The garden is one of those places.
06/08/2025: Great place if you like a relaxed style. Good food they are known for duck belly but thought their small dishes were better. But will definitely come again if we pass by.

Super Brugsens Café

13/08/2025: Self service with in or outside tables. Coffee and pie can be ordered insided of the super Brufsen supermarket and you can drink and eat it outside. Totally recommendable.
26/07/2025: Best experience in Brugsen. You can get coffee from the vending machine and buy delicious cake 🤩 I chose a nut triangle and it was super delicious 😋

Grand House Burger

19/05/2026: We go all the way to Rudkøbing from Svendborg and get really delicious food.
We ordered pizza and burger as well as a Belgian waffle for dessert and everything was delicious and you can taste that things are made from scratch.
The service was also very welcoming and friendly.
All in all a really good experience, we will definitely come here again 👌
13/04/2026: I am always greeted with a smile when I come here and the food is delicious, their food is some of the best you can get in Rudkøbing. Very tasty and nothing is missing.
It is a cozy place that I like to come and would like to recommend to everyone on my way.

05/07/2026: I got 2 microscopic fish cakes with a round rye bread from Kohberg. For the price I expected the rye bread to be at least homemade. The service was mediocre and disinterested.
29/06/2026: This is the place to go. The staff is so friendly, and the food is delicious and very well prepared. They could easily work for the royal family.

17/07/2026: Old-fashioned apple cake for 109kr. You expect something special. That just wasn't the case. It was made of applesauce that didn't taste like much and macaroons that weren't homemade. A boring affair.
Wanted to sit at a table that could be converted into a 6-person table. Despite the fact that there were only 2 other parties in the café and despite the fact that there was another 6-person table, we were very firmly asked to move to another table. No more guests came while we were there.
07/07/2026: The food was very good, but if you wanted to share a dish you had to pay 25 kroner extra just to get a plate, which is very strange, I have never experienced that before, and when we asked why we think we got a very arrogant answer, and we were not allowed to bring our small stroller into the store.

28/06/2026: Nice little campsite with very nice owners. Was a little disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open. It wasn't advertised on their website. No heat in the bathrooms and toilets, it wasn't a pleasure 🥶 Located very conveniently to the harbor and to the town itself.

Lovely cabin with nice clean kitchen, lovely beds and lovely wooden terrace.
Nice little place with lovely little pool, and very friendly owners. Certainly not new, but that reflects the price, therefore definitely 5 stars.

10/11/2025: Perfect lunch spot. Food was delicious and fresh. The lady running the place is very sweet. Would recommend!
21/10/2025: The burgers and the polenta mix were very good. We tried the chicken, fish, garlic, and bacon burgers.
The service was good, and we were served in German.
I'm deducting one star. I found the patty on my burger 🍔 to be a bit overcooked and therefore dry.

Rude owner. And not present at check out
15/10/2025: It's not a traditional Danish hotel, so it's a different experience. The hosts were super friendly and they made dinner for us when we were late home after a trip - out of season.
The place itself is eclectic and we took a lot of pictures so we could remember with a smile on our faces.
It's a bit accessible and it's close to beautiful walks.
Nice with the outdoor areas that gave privacy and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful starry sky.

04/07/2026: Really boring pizzas that don't have much flavor and the dough was a bit rubbery and sour.. the man behind the counter also tried to cheat me out of a 50 :)
04/07/2026: Arrived at 4pm at opening time but was quickly stopped by a locked door so was sent on down to bistro bredo by the locals who come with the statement “it's something better”
BISTRO BREDO 10/10 can recommend with good service and reception

Alle dårlige anmeldelser blev – i den grad – gjort til skamme😊
Mange tak for en fantastisk god oplevelse:
• Værelserne var fine og rene med gode senge/madrasser.
• Dejlig kaffe og kage ved ankomst.
• Adgang til en formidabel fiskebuffet med et dejligt stort udvalg - ovenikøbet i ”eget” lokale!
• Høflig, venlig og hurtig betjening.
• God morgenmad og hurtig glad afregning.
Jeg er sikker på, at vi alle vil vende tilbage for igen at opleve jeres fantastiske koncept😊

09/08/2025: The family's annual trip to Strynø always includes lunch at Det Gamle Mejeri. And we always have to have omelettes!
The interior could do with a bit of a makeover. And it's a real shame that they've closed their microbrewery.
Remember to book a table. It's often sold out in the summer
16/07/2025: Cute and cozy restaurant with limited outdoor and indoor seating. Booking ahead is required according to their website. The menu was very limited, with æggekaga (omelette), fried fish and burger. The food was pretty average. Unfortunately the microbrewery is no longer in action which wasn't updated on the website.
