06/04/2025: Authentic, old atmosphere. As if time has stood still for a while. Really good food. Got the dish of the day: the day's roast beef. 'Local' brewed soft drink from Ribe. Sweet and friendly service. Fast operation. Two meals and four soft drinks under DKK 400. Room for tips.

The food was lovely and the service lovely. And the price was definitely more than reasonable.
Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended and would love to come again.

16/05/2025: Unfortunately, I had a really disappointing experience at Vejen Sushi Hus. The service was extremely slow – we waited almost an hour for the first round of sushi to be served, and the subsequent rounds took another 30 minutes each.
Taste-wise, it wasn’t impressive either. Many of their pieces had strange combinations like roasted onions and chives on top, which disrupted the fresh taste you usually associate with sushi. Unfortunately, their desserts were also downright bad, so I would highly recommend sticking to the most basic varieties – if you choose to eat here at all.
All in all, a disappointing experience, and I won’t be back.

05/04/2025: I would give 3.5 stars for the food. A place I can easily eat again, but am used to better, so can't give higher 🙂
10/02/2025: Have eaten here several times the food was ok.
The problem arose because I bought soup for DKK 50 and consumed this during my break as a bus driver in my 40 min break only soup!!! This was good but on a cold February evening I wanted to warm myself with soup again and was told that they would not let me buy soup alone but only food from the house. Nonsense, I don't think it was the same person who sold me last time. But I was upset and have promised myself never to come again even though I had been there many times before with the family my Filipino wife and my 4 children.

01/12/2024: Ordered and collected a 3 course menu for 12 people. It tasted wonderful and there was plenty. In addition, it was arranged just to put on the table and packed so that the heat remained warm, even the bread. So absolutely worth all the money, under DKK 300 per person. Etc. Anne
27/08/2024: Enter the restaurant at 7 p.m. Have we made a reservation? No, they are passing through. We had to discuss whether there is still food for us. In the end just their hamburger with fries. Something else happened... After us, several couples received all the attention and were served (apparently they had made a reservation). We did not feel welcome and to top it all off, we paid €22 pp for a hamburger... Yes, then you unfortunately scare customers away.

I had a good experience. The food was good and the ambient was pretty cozy!
They had the most sweet and cute dogs too 🥰

15/09/2024: Var i Vejen og ledte efter noget aftensmad. Blev positiv overrasket da jeg så at der lå en jamaicansk restaurant.
Det gjorde det svært at vælge da der var mange lækre ting på kortet. Men det var lang tid siden jeg havde fået jerk chicken så det blev valget. Kæmpe kyllingebryst marineret i jerk spices med ris/bønner og super lækker salat med mango osv.
Min søn tog spiced pork sandwich der også så flot ud og havde et godt krydderkick.
Vi blev begge super mætte for ca 350 inkl drikkevare.
Virkelig positiv overrasket over at finde noget lidt anderledes der så også var super godt.
