We arrived here through direction from the good people at Husmanns Vinstue. This is a brilliant place with great atmosphere and very quick and very friendly service. As we didn't book in advance we got a table at the back but it really didn't deter from the experience. I ordered the fried veal liver. A rich and creamy concoction of pure comfort, with potatoes, a truckload of bacon and an aside of extra gravy. Definitely not for the faint-hearted but I was inbound from a very long drive and this was a piece of heaven. The rest of the troop ordered the salmon on a board and the stuffed portobello, both amazing options. The salmon came with spicy butter and expertly seasoned mash. Absolute perfection. The stuffed portobello was truly well balanced with pesto and some baby potatoes. A strong option for the evening.

We wanted to try a Danish restaurant and the food was good for its price. However I did not enjoy the hospitality and the atmosphere. We did not have a reservation but they did not have to have us seated in the worst table, even though the restaurant was almost empty.

Came without a reservation, with a dog (unfortunately that's often a no-go for being allowed to sit inside) Super friendly service, felt very welcome. Had fish and meatballs, very tasty; very good local beer; We were advised about dessert, our dish was not on the menu. Also very fine. Highly recommended A really great evening for the three of us

Fantastic staff, great service, super nice smørrebrød. All in all a lovely experience!

Stort udvalg af frokostretter og svært at vælge. Vi fik både noget fra menukortet og fra “dagens retter”. Vi valgte alle 5 “Super Ida” (reference til Ida Davidsen) med hvidvinskogte kartofler, røget laks og håndpillede rejer. Meget lækkert. 2. servering fordelte sig til gengæld over kantareller, stegt kalvelever, banansplit og rabarbertrifli. Alt kendetegnet ved gode råvarer og af at være frisklavet og særdeles velsmagende. Pænt udvalg af drikkevarer. Udvalget af alkoholfri øl kunne godt være lidt større, men det, der var, var godt. Restauranten er hyggelig, beliggende i høj kælder med god lysindfald. Pladsen lidt trang men ikke så meget, at det var generende. Betjeningen var tip top, erfarne og dygtige tjenere, der var effektive, venlig og opmærksomme. Prisen rimelig både i forhold til kvalitet, service og beliggenhed

Our hotel recommended this restaurant and just manged to get us in .you need to book .we arrived and the place was buzzing .great atmosphere, friendly staff who gave great service . We had the set dinner which was excellent Danish cuisine. Washed down with some good craft beer . The menu had a wonderful choice and looking at what other diners were eating I wish we had time to return. So do visit 1733 it will be a memorable occasion.
