24/05/2025: Ate at restaurant SMEAK yesterday. I ordered, among other things, their snack "crispy mushroom risotto". Which I think is a total misrepresentation of what is served. I was served orzo balls with parmesan. I asked about this and was told that it was orzo cooked with vegetable broth, so it had not seen the shadow of risotto, or mushrooms for that matter. I have been served risotto balls in many other places and can conclude that orzo can in no way replace a creamy mushroom risotto. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Other food was delicious and tasty. The surroundings are a bit worn. My boyfriend got a beer glass that was cut, as was our candle holder. All the chairs had torn fabric, which unfortunately gave the restaurant a sadder look.
