Cafe Visa Aalborg

I've been there with my employees, my son and daughter-in-law, and a friend three times. And I'm just as happy every time, great food served by the sweetest staff, always smiling and in a good mood. If I have to eat in or around Aalborg, there's only one place, VISA Café.

We have been here twice, one lunch and one dinner. The food was ok both times, especially the bolognese and their carbonara. But their pizza gela was not as good as expected. Their chocolate milkshake is the best we have ever tasted in Aalborg. The second time we were there, there was Aalborg Carnival. Therefore, the service was a bit rushed and not as usual. It was understandable.

The place is very nice and clean. Of the two employees, the male part is very nice and professional, while the lady behaved as if she was dying. Since I come from a country that has top quality food in Aalborg, I mostly complained about the food. I had a decent meal here, which means that the quantity was enough and the flavors were solid. The cocktails are excellent and the overall impression is very good compared to other places in the city.

The food is well-served and tasty. The price is more attractive at lunchtime.

We wanted to eat here because we had a 20% discount coupon from earlier. My wife ordered Fettuccine Marinara. She didn't think it tasted like anything and complained about it. It was taken back without any problems and she was offered a new dish that tasted as it should. We got free coffee and an extra 10% discount when we paid. I got a Whiskey steak that tasted good. The waiter even came running after us when we left because we had forgotten our gloves. I thought that was great service that I would like to reward with 5 stars

Quick with the first round of drinks, food on time, well prepared. Then no follow-up questions about whether we could drink more. Sat for 45 min. and chatted after finishing eating - without asking if we could drink more. They could have potentially easily increased their turnover by 500-1000 kr. 2nd time as a guest in a week, party of 11 people. Will definitely come again.
