Great hotel for a weekend away. 5mins walk from main train station and easy walks to all tourist areas. Bonus is the breakfast that really sets you up for a day of sight seeing

I highly recommend the Absalon Hotel for a stay in Copenhagen. Top hotel, super well located, lacking nothing! The staff is pleasant and welcoming…! Everything is perfect.

Noble and beautiful hotel, only about a 3-minute walk from the main train station. Friendly staff, clean and well-equipped rooms, fantastic breakfast buffet.

Arrived late in the evening but the Reception welcome was still full of smiles. The Reception had a warm feel with dimly lit lighting and looked modern. The room we booked - 'Original' was compact but adequate, clean and decorated nicely, which gave off a fresh feel. The Bathroom was also a reasonable size and clean. It had included shower wash / conditioner in the shower and handwashing / hand - body cream at the sink, a few accessories and a hair dryer. You have an option to forfeit / swap out your ‘maid service’ each day and grab a voucher for 1. Cycle hire 50% 2. Absalon Bar drinks 100 DKK 3. Body care product from REN. If it’s only a short break that’s a reasonable idea to help the planet (do your bit) without towel exchange and room cleaning that’s not really required. Breakfast is superb! A great array of food. Cold meats and cheeses, yogurts and fresh fruit. Cereals, pastries with jams and honey. There is also a small hot section with pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausages. A plethora of different ‘milks’ to suit your style. Tea available with fresh coffee at your table. There’s a great turn around of food to keep the availability fresh and plenty of staff on hand to help and keep your table clear. They are super helpful and polite. The bar in the evening is a great way to relax after a day full of sightseeing. Not the cheapest but tell me a hotel bar that is. *On a small note, we couldn’t lock the safe on the first morning as the batteries were low (something you’d think would be checked on the room clean on handover day). When I informed Reception they were straight on it with maintenance - Within 1/2 hour. So if there is a problem it’s super quick and sorted! Only added to point out the quickness of maintenance, nothing else. You are really looked after here, well run by very attentive staff. Always happy help! A great location too. Well within reach of all the main things to do in Copenhagen, even on foot. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. PB 👌🏻

The location is convenient for commuting to all the tourist destinations, and the room is comfortable. Breakfast also offers a good range of options to choose from.

If heaven were a hotel the Absalon would be it. Everything we wanted and more, had amazing staff and so clean . Excellent breakfasts and great location for the metro

Absalon Hotel is in a great spot and the staff are welcoming and helpful. I booked a pre-pay room with breakfast. The room was cozy and had the perfect vibe for our visit. The only downsides were that the bed was stiffer than we expected and the pillows were lacking, and the shower tub was a bit of a step up. Despite those two things, I would absolutely stay here again. Our room was streetside on a lower level, but outside noise was not an issue. The room was warm. We did book the family size room to have more space for the two of us, which was nice when resting our feet between exploring parts of the city. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, and it's walkable to most of the attractions in the city, or again, public transportation makes it easily accessible to get anywhere. The front desk staff were as warm as the room, and the breakfast staff were also quite attentive. I liked the pastry offerings at breakfast. The other elements are a bit plain but absolutely worth the value. I would stay here again and recommend it to close family and friends.

I have slept here several times in connection with work and courses, it is a real city hotel with nice surroundings in the middle of the vibrant Copenhagen life with all that it entails.
