We had the pleasure of dining at The Alchemist this week, and it was a wonderful experience. The meal lasted almost six hours, but it flew by thanks to all the surprises throughout. The food, the messages—everything was perfect. We even had a great chat with the chef afterward. His plan to close down and reinvent himself seems very promising. A little tip, as my wife told Rasmus: if he goes to India, he absolutely must visit Varanasi.

An incredible culinary experience for all the senses. Fascinating stories about the creation of the dishes. Amazing wines. An impressive restaurant with a fantastic video installation. The service is exceptionally good.

A truly unique and unforgettable experience. Alchemist is much more than just dinner. The creativity, presentation, entertainment and stories behind many of the dishes are on an exceptional level. Trying so many completely different and sometimes unexpected things throughout the evening made the whole experience very special. The food ranged from good to very good. Some dishes were surprisingly simple, others more complex. What we found harder to identify was a clear culinary signature running through all 50 impressions. Each dish felt like its own little story rather than part of one continuous journey. Maybe that is exactly Alchemists signature: pure creativity without many boundaries. There were also a few small details we felt could be improved. For example, with the Picasso dish, slightly thicker and square-shaped chips would make it easier to add the paste and dip them into the sauce without breaking. We were also a little surprised that our birthday celebration was not acknowledged at all, even though it had been mentioned in the reservation. Not even a simple “Happy Birthday”. This was a small disappointment, but certainly did not take away from the overall experience. Overall, a delicious and unforgettable evening. In terms of creativity, storytelling, presentation and the entire production around the food, Alchemist is absolutely world-class. Purely in terms of taste, however, it was not quite at that same world-class level for us.

Brooo Alchemist was actually really sick 😭 the food was crazy and some of the stuff looked like something from outer space no cap💀 but wallah it tasted good. sick setup.

Very good but costs much! - Very good but costs much!

Without doubt the best experience we have ever had. We will be talking about this for Years. The food was exceptional & fantastically creative as was the setting. The staff incredible (Anna who most looked after us was fantasticly knowledgeable) & never made us feel rushed, it was like talking to friends. It was cool to meet Rasmus too, you can tell he really cares about every guest & is just a great guy. Just an unbelievable thing to do if you get an opportunity, my pictures although good just do not do it justice, the memories you make by going will.

An unforgettable dining experience at Alchemist. Every course was incredibly creative, beautifully presented, and full of unexpected flavors. The entire dinner felt like a journey rather than a meal, with each dish bringing something completely different to the table. My favorite course was the “brain” surprising, refined, and absolutely delicious. It was definitely the dish that stayed with me the most. Also the tongue… wow! Beverage, well… kombucha! I was expecting for this kind of beverage and I got an extremely high quality kombucha here. The attention to detail, creativity, and execution were exceptional. A truly unique experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something beyond a traditional fine-dining dinner.

More than just a restaurant - it's theater! Every dish tells a story, and the atmosphere is magical. Some dishes were overwhelming, others brilliant. The whole experience takes several hours. Perfect for those looking for something completely different from traditional fine dining.

Interesting experiance not only for food but also for eyes and mind. Most of the dishes were absolutely fenomenom. Starting from welcoming set in the laboratory, that was just amazing. After that we have been moved to the main dinning room. Round celing with displayed video as in Sphere were amazing experience, creating unique atmosphere for the whole evening. Most of the dishes were prepared with perfection, very delicate and teasty and visually amazing. But some dishes as tongue, brain and chicken legs where completely disgusting in taste and visual as well. I completely didn’t get the idea of the room with dancing girl and balls - it didn’t match at all. The price is definitvely much to high comparing to the whole experience. I would expect to have all dishes to be perfect, but it wasn’t the case. It was definitvely overrated and overvalued.
