Ambassaden Fanø

The picture of the starter speaks for itself, our visit to the Embassy on Fanø was the usual, really delicious food where all the senses are activated. Thank you for a lovely evening.

En tallerkenanrettet, lidt twistet julemenu. Vi købte en, viste det sig, rigtig udmærket riesling dertil. Hyggeligt sted og venlig betjening. Vi fik en lille kande postevand til vinen. Det viste sig at være “vand ad libitum”, også selvom den ikke blev genopfyldt og kostede 48 kr - lige fresh nok, syn’s jeg. Vi kunne godt have været foruden jordskokke komposten, den komplimenterede overhovedet ikke de tynde skiver røget inderlår af “Bertels gris”.

It was a fantastic Mortensaft menu and there was plenty of it. They had made a special dessert due to allergies for one of the guests and it was a dream of a chocolate cake, plenty of it, so everyone tasted it. Once again an exquisite dinner!!! Thank you very much!

Five stars is too little. This restaurant should have six stars. The culinary experience was particularly high with magic from chef Mads (who was in the kitchen on his birthday on 16 October). Thank you for really nice food. The hostess Pia elevated our experience at the restaurant to a personal and lively evening in cozy surroundings. Pia's bringing the restaurant to life and the love for Fanø and the culture on the island is so genuine and should be experienced by everyone. Thank you for a special evening!
