During my stay in the Nørrebro neighborhood, I've come every day to buy delicious sourdough rolls and try different pastries, each one better than the last. I can't comment on the coffee because I don't drink it, but the bread is excellent. They have both an indoor area and a small terrace with picnic tables.

Absolutely delicious. Limited coffee selection (no chai, unfortunately). Plenty of seating. A line out the door at times, but none when we arrived so it varies.

I love this bakery, no wonder everyone is obsessed about it, the pastry is indeed amazing. I come here a few times a month. I have one wish though. The coffee here is always way too acidic / raw. They do have few options, but all options are on the acidic / raw side. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want coffee that’s burnt, that has no acidity, but it’s just way too light and acidic here. It would be really nice if they provided an option that more on the medium / dark roast, less acidic, more rounded 🫶

The atmosphere was busy yet cozy and comfortable. Sadly, a lot of items sold out quickly, but the delicious pastries and delightful tea made up for it. We had a great time!

Andersen & Maillard is a key fixture in Copenhagen's specialty coffee and artisanal pastry scene. Born from the collaboration between world pastry champion Milton Abel and barista Hans Kristian Andersen, the establishment is known for the quality of its select coffees, expert roasting techniques, and meticulously crafted baked goods. Its renowned croissants and specialty pastries are a key reason for its popularity. The minimalist, modern ambience perfectly reflects the city's Nordic style. While not a historic attraction or a UNESCO World Heritage site, it's a popular stop for food and coffee lovers, showcasing the more contemporary side of Danish food culture.
