I tried ARD Bakery after reading many people recommending it, and it did not disappoint. The Cardamom Bun really excellent, the flavor and texture. I also loved the ceramic saucer. The cappuccino is also good. I would definitely go back, it was a great discovery!

ARD Bakery is a hidden find in Copenhagen that’s absolutely worth the detour. Their sourdough is world-class, especially when it’s fresh out of the oven in the morning—an absolute treat! The pastries are outstanding, and you can’t miss the cinnamon roll. Make sure to try it while it's hot—wow! The staff are incredibly friendly, adding to the overall warm and inviting atmosphere. Though it’s a bit off the beaten path from the main tourist areas, it’s well worth the visit. Go and enjoy!

ARD bakery is a hidden treasure in the outskirts of Copenhagen. After a run at the beautiful nearby Damhusengen lake, I happened to walk by and decided to stop for a post-run cappuccino and pastry. I asked the cashier for a recommendation, and she told me the Tebirkes is the most traditional, but the bakery is mostly known for its cinnamon rolls. I tried the latter, and it indeed might have been the best one I'd ever had. It was so good that I decided to go back to the cash desk and order a sourdough bread for lunch. I feasted on it for days, and will gladly be visiting again to try out more of their delicious baked goods! One suggestion: the cappuccino would have been even more tasty in a porcelain cup instead of a paper cup.

16/02/2025: We had our wedding here with the family, about 20 people, and it was a fantastic experience! They have a room in the basement for approx. 20 people where we held it. The room is really atmospheric and is located by their wine cellar. You go down a spiral staircase and see an oblong table. The menu was put together with their restaurant manager and they gave good feedback and were quite flexible. We had lobster ravioli, fried quail, and crème brûlée with raspberry sorbet. The wine was burgundy oriented, really delicious. The service was also really good! We had children with us who could enjoy themselves away from the table and had two musicians who came and played. We had our wedding in a nearby park and they were very flexible and we agreed that if it rained we could have the ceremony down there too. It was not topical, but safe and professional service. The only small downside was that when I asked one of the waiters if they could introduce the wines, he was reluctant and said that it was just Bourgogne AOP, so there wasn't much to say. A swig, where he should have just taken one of the more experienced waiters over to explain the wine. All in all, it was a huge success, and I can only warmly recommend holding events at Sans Sauci! Thank you for good food and service!

10/02/2025: Nice local bar away from the downtown’s fuzz. Can get full very quick, but normally it’s easy to find a place on weekdays.
