Nice pub with a nice atmosphere and fantastic staff. Nice music and good drinks. The food is prepared elsewhere and arrives in Styrofoam boxes by the staff, which means that the wait can be a bit long, but acceptable since the food is made a la minute. The only thing that brings down the rating is the toilets. These should be cleaned more often as the smell of urine was very noticeable. The toilets are in the basement and are not handicap accessible.

Nice place, perfectly okay food. We ate sandwiches which we hadn't eaten before so I don't know how to classify them, but it was good. It was a bit messy though as there were several people coming to take orders etc. the service didn't have their own tables they were responsible for. But nice staff, there was also a Swedish person on the staff for easier ordering/communication. When the Danish krone is so high it gets quite expensive though, 3 sandwiches for 99 Danish which is about 150 Swedish...

We came by hungry and thirsty, were surprised by a Swedish male waiter who immediately made us stay🤗 incredibly nice and charming we must say. The food is super good as we ate Caesar salad, 1 glass of white wine and some water. The sum of the cardamom, that was clear. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ for everything 🥬🍗🧀

We’ve enjoyed Smørrebrød and cold drinks at axelhus. The location is nice and our waiter was really friendly and attentive.

It was chaotic when we were here, and the staff couldn't keep up. It took a long time before the food was served, we had to ask for cutlery, there were no napkins, salt and pepper. In addition, guests were rude behind us. I think the fantastic weather meant that there were more guests than the restaurant was prepared to serve.

01/08/2026: This place gets crowded quick! It's a good bar with a fantastic selection of beers and one of the best seating areas in town. Staff are helpful and friendly and theres even a chance wheel if you don't know what you want. They also have live music which isn't easy to find in helsingør. The only problem with this place is they sell cocktails (that are actually great) but they don't have dedicated "beer and wine" queue so if a group wants cocktails you could be waiting a while. If they made a separate line for just beers and wines this place would be 5 stars easy
24/06/2026: You can enjoy a great beer and listen to live music. This pub is located on a charming, side street in Helsingør.
