Ballum Slusekro Tønder

There is a good old advice 'Never go back to a junk shop' But since we regularly visit Ballum Slusekro, we have to say that it is EVERYTHING but a junk shop. You are welcomed by a super friendly staff, the food is heavenly and the waiting time is short. Definitely recommendable. Great location, with the Wadden Sea on one side and the marsh on the other. So if you have not visited the place yet, then you just have to go 😊❤️

Had the dish Kong Fiddes Livret for the first time and it tasted fantastic. It won't be the last time we come there!

A really cozy inn located in the middle of nowhere. At least that's how it feels for a "Copenhagen resident". We stayed in two nice simple rooms with good beds, beautiful views and somewhat boring bathrooms. The staff was nice and welcoming. We had a delicious and filling table-served breakfast with soft-boiled eggs, juice, cheese, cold cuts, coffee, etc.

The restaurant's historic premises and furnishings have age, coziness and authenticity. We had lamb stew and rice salad. Both dishes were very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. And the hotel's location is unique.

Lovely food, lovely service and not a long wait for food, highly recommended 🍕😋😋
