Centrally located in the pedestrian zone of Assens, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely both inside and in the outdoor area/courtyard. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best. The Caesar salad was practically drowning in mayonnaise.

The bank has a really cozy atmosphere and a beautiful backyard, which makes the place extra charming. The food came quickly, and the staff was both welcoming and attentive. They had our order completely under control and took special requests into account, which gave a really good experience. The food was classic café food. It was quite nice, although it doesn't quite reach restaurant level. All in all, we had a really good experience, and it's definitely a place I'd like to come back to.

Super delicious schnitzel at a reasonable price. And super cozy atmosphere, cool to preserve some of the old building's decor with the bank vault etc.

Great place and local cafe in Assens - our 'go to place' when we are in town. Cozy inside but also outside in the summer. The kids love their nachos and Mexi burger.

We had lunch here as a party of four and were served promptly and politely. The food came out really quickly and was amazing. I had the fish with the tortellini and white wine cream sauce and can't recommend it enough. Really well balance dish and a lovely ambiance. Thanks !

Unfortunately, the Wiener Schnitzel was not worth sinking your teeth into, friendly service and cozy courtyard/premises, I would happily come back for a beer, but I would stay away from the food.

We enjoyed ourselves, so 5 stars for the atmosphere. Food, not quite what I had imagined, the potatoes seemed like they were just split and put in the microwave to be warm, the sauce was a very ordinary butter sauce, I have had Wienerschnitzel in many different places, but always with a cloud sauce, peas had been cooked a few minutes too long. The meat itself was reasonable, not dry but not crispy on the outside either. So the food does not live up to the price. Service, the waiter was not service minded, asked "what can I do for you", it almost seemed like he did not want to be at work, not so much as a smile. But they were also looking for new waiters, maybe that's why😂 Cozy city center.
