25/07/2026: Always delicious food, lots of delicious draft beers, and drinks. Could be better red wines. Otherwise super delicious and cozy place both inside and out. Especially the open sandwiches and pork roast sandwiches that they have on Fridays for lunch. A place where they also have various cozy music events. Highly recommended from here and come there often.

22/07/2026: The best pizza in Denmark. Highly recommended. They can make almost everything gluten-free. Incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable staff.

05/08/2026: Highly recommended! The food is truly exceptional! The Parisian-style minced steak came with red onions, horseradish, capers, vegetables, and egg yolk – a perfectly balanced combination! The children's portions are very generous. Dessert is also incredibly delicious! The house and garden are lovely, and you feel very comfortable there! Reservations are advisable! Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants in the area; Helnæs Kro is a real hidden gem!

22/05/2026: Just had a pizza from them. We ordered a gluten-free pizza, as one of the company was unfortunately allergic to gluten. A pizza with kebab was ordered, which was obviously a mistake... At least a pizza arrived with only a few pieces of kebab. I have never experienced getting a pizza, ordered as a "kebab pizza", with almost no kebab on it. It is incredibly strange to deliver such a poor product. Either you have to raise the price, or be honest about the fact that it is a pizza "with a hint of kebab". With that approach to craftsmanship, the place cannot be recommended to anyone!

23/07/2026: Centrally located in the pedestrian zone of Assens, the service is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely both inside and in the outdoor area/courtyard. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best. The Caesar salad was practically drowning in mayonnaise.
