The food is really good when you eat at the restaurant and the portions are really big. However when you order takeaway, the meat, falafel and bread are really dry and the portions are smaller. A bit disappointed about the takeout.

Barakat is one of my favorite places to eat in the whole world. It's the heart of Valby. Try their Mevlana A6, it tastes so good. The staff is friendly and always remembers you, and asks until you're done. And the atmosphere is authentic and cute!

My absolute favorite restaurant. It may be fancier and more over the top, but Barakat is by far the best place with the best food, if you ask me.

14/03/2026: Interesting place, good vibes, good staff, worth to visit
09/03/2026: We only went in briefly as it wasn't really our thing. That evening the music was mostly house and techno. There was a cloakroom (for a fee) and the club charged an entrance fee. It wasn't for me, but there were other enthusiastic patrons. The staff was friendly.
