The pork is so juicy Food melts in your mouth The dessert is so light and tasty Bread is ok Im expecting it was warm but i like the rye bread. Staff nice and chatty! Good location Ambiance nice I would sit in front of the chef cooking next time.

Can't recommend this place highly enough. The food was 5*, the service was 6*. Spent 4 hours here and loved every second :)

Imo this place doesn't worth the hype.. maybe my expectations were too high and i was disappointed.. the beetroots accompanying the duck were the worst part for me 😶

We had mixed feelings of our meal here. We had higher expectations for the food . The pork was quite pink which we aren't used to so I think this turned us off a bit , small portions too for the amount it costs. We felt the wine selection was poor a lot of Austrian wines which was unusual . The coffee was not drinkable , I tried even with a lot of milk and was too bitter. We had a voucher or definitely would have complained a lot . Will not return

The first thing to mention about Barr is its location: after crossing a bridge to reach a newly developed area, one comes across an old Danish building located practically over the water. Then, upon entering, the Nordic interior, where light wood, simplicity and stripping reign, is completely overshadowed by the heart of the environment: an immense and impeccable stainless steel kitchen populated by young and enthusiastic cooks to whom one does not you can stop observing. Finally, the food. We ordered the 4-course menu: makarell in foam, raw beef terrine and the fried pork chop. Everything was brilliantly made... ahhh and the panera; the bread far from being a companion, was another protagonist. Each dish came with its wine and each wine had its explanation: from some Austrian novelty to a classic Italian Barabera D'Asti; all of the paired perfectly If Copenhagen's food scene is the city's new big attraction, Barr is definitely one of its stars; because I left with what I came for: love for Nordic and quality gastronomy at every moment of the night.

We were really looking forward to this restaurant and booked a table well in advance. Nice venue and location. Very nice hosts, but some time passed between the matches, and there were probably people at work, it gets boring to sit and wait for a drink in a restaurant. The food was good, but at that price I had expected a much higher standard on all the dishes. We had four courses and I had the beer package, the wife stuck to a couple of glasses of white wine. The drink we had with the dishes was fabulous. 1 dish was incredibly tame and boring, not much to shout about. 2 course was heavenly and the whole highlight of this evening. Then it is incredibly boring that the main course (flounder) was very tame, and the side dishes here were also rather boring. 4 right, was a very, very good dessert! So overall, it wasn't bad, but not a top score either.

Incredible restaurant! Each of the dish is very very nice. But my favourite is definitly Trout. Atmosphere is very nice. I insistly recommended this restaurant. Also you should try different kind of beers.

Decided to book this restaurant as we were staying in Nyhavn so it was a short walk across the bridge. The decor and place settings etc were lovely and simple and very scandi. The meal was delicious with a choice either of a tasting menu or a la carte. The food is good value and is modern Danish. Ambience and setting good. Would definitely recommend.

On a recommendation , my daughter and I visited Barr last Saturday lunchtime. Food was really good and our server Alex was so kind and attentive, especially as I spilled my wine. Certainly a place to visit.
