We stayed here will walking the Gendarmstien. Hotel close to the beach, the pedestrian zone and the old city. Very nice rooms. Excellent beds. Very good breakfast.

Loved this Hotel. Kind and friendly staff. Good sized room, comfortable bed. Nice amenities close to the town centre, I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. Stunning traditional Danish breakfast buffet. Absolutely loved staying here.

Not a nice view out of the window, BUT very central in beautiful old city of Sonderborg and the best pizza on Als, if not in Denmark ;-)

The very best Italian restaurant I've been to in Denmark and it's actually Italians who cook the food and you can taste it 💚👏💚

Byens Pizza & Grill Dybbøl - Sønderborg

05/10/2026: Really good and crispy pizza. Hot when delivered, good taste.
27/07/2026: The food was way below average, waited 10 minutes for someone to come over to ask what we wanted. Horrible service and definitely won't be back.
