23/05/2026: Had a chance to have a dinner here with my coleagues from India. They approved so had to try 🤣 The food and service is really good. We had the chance to try buffet. Hope will have a chance to visit again.

26/06/2026: We ate ice cream here three times during our holiday. There were always different flavors of ice cream on display. Of course, the classic flavors are always available. The coffee is also great. The seat cushions could use a wash.

The flavors are simply unbeatable, the staff incredibly friendly and attentive, the half-scoop option instead of full-size scoops was a new and fascinating idea, the prices are reasonable, we'll definitely be back, and we highly recommend it. 16/05/2026: Breakfast at Ballebro Færgekro. A very special experience. You are greeted with a smile at the reception, the table is ready, the bread is freshly baked and still warm, egg muffins, pancakes, homemade jam and good stories. Everything is delicious. The view is priceless and the hotel has been restored as if it were brand new and 150 years old. Even on a rainy day you can't help but smile. We will definitely come again.

29/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant in Sonderburg. Every time I dock my yacht in the port of Sonderburg, I go there. My guests also love the food. Highly recommended, but don't forget to make a reservation.

13/06/2026: Nice place near the tourist attractions. We had no problems to find a close by parking. The food was okay, Danish style. The dishes we order were tasty, well prepared. In my point of view a bit over priced. Shame that when they place a kids option and writhing down “Fish fillet” you receiving a fish covered with bread crumbs, which looks like dip fried fillet. Over all nice place to spend few hours while it is raining outside.

06/06/2026: Today we visited Bistro Grand Mère for lunch, and it was an experience we will never forget. From the moment we sat down at the table, we were greeted by a cozy and authentic French bistro atmosphere with the most beautiful location by the harbor in Sønderborg. As a welcome, we were served freshly baked baguette with butter, and it was undoubtedly some of the crispiest and tastiest bread we have had in a long time. We both ordered a Croque Monsieur with green salad and french fries. The dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor and clearly made with respect for classic French traditions. The fries were crispy, the salad fresh, and the whole meal just connected in a way that makes you already look forward to the next visit. Croque Monsieur is also one of the bistro's well-known French lunch classics. The service was friendly, present and attentive without being intrusive. You felt like a guest and not just another table in the row. Together with the cozy atmosphere and the view of the harbor, it created the perfect setting for a relaxed lunch. If you are looking for authentic French bistro food, good ingredients and an atmosphere that sends thoughts to France, then we can only give our warmest recommendations. We will definitely come back next time we visit Sønderborg. Thank you for a fantastic lunch experience! 🇫🇷🥖🍟😊

01/04/2026: We were a group of young people and they gave us fantastic service! It closes at 00:00, but because they could see the atmosphere was good in my group, they let us stay as long as we wanted. FANTASTIC place will come again!

07/07/2026: What a special experience. On our trip to Denmark, we stopped by Café Fika a few times. You are warmly welcomed in a very cozy setting. Not your average café. A unique yet beautiful interior and staff who do this with passion. Delicious flavors, and everything fresh and made on the spot. Highly recommended! It is best to reserve your spot on the day itself! Even the prices are very reasonable for these delicious, fresh works of art. Enjoy!

21/06/2026: Wow, one of the best kebab rolls we've ever had! Homemade durum pancake, and even the kebab roll was huge! A third bigger than the vine plants you get elsewhere. So worth the money! Thanks for the food
