Excellent French restaurant with great ingredients!

We had dinner at Bistro Boheme last night and absolutely loved it. The food was amazing from start to finish, the oysters were fresh and perfect, the grilled steak was incredibly delicious, and the crème brûlée was the ideal ending. The service was just as impressive. Our waiter was extremely attentive, genuinely kind, and made excellent recommendations, especially for the wine. He really made the whole experience even better. A wonderful evening overall, highly recommended!

Lovely French oasis in the centre of Copenhagen. Food, wine, atmosphere delivers!

This bistro delivers a solid quality experience with the feel of old Copenhagen from before New Nordic was the new green. It feels as if Bisto Boheme existed in the early modernity of the 20s, capable of delivering solid French quality. We visited for an early dinner at the theatre and we did not regret it. The waiters are trained, efficient and provided service that makes you want to tip. The price is on the slightly higher end but reasonable considering that nothing fell through and you were served by trained staff and not students with a side job. We had caviar with side dishes and brioche bread as a starter. The caviar was nice but without any special aftertaste so hold off on the brioche as it quickly becomes too dominant in taste. But the brioche itself is super delicious; sweet, crispy and fatty. The second starter was the crab with avocado which had a perfect balance and harmonized well with the foccacia-like sourdough bread that was served as standard. For the main course we ordered tartar with an extra order of fries and a stuffed rabbit. Solid food craftsmanship, I guess the tartar is created on a tenderloin - it tasted like that. The rabbit was French with a spring roll with sage - a little too much for me, but I know French cuisine has a love affair with this sharp herb, but for my palette it was a bit overwhelming. We finished with a blue cheese with grated comté and chocolate and a chocolate pie with poached pear and parfait. The chocolate pie was rock solid. Deep and rich in flavor. The pear could have been poached a little more for my taste, but I would eat it again and the parfait was classic and perfect. We got 3 courses, cocktail, mocktail, water and 2 glasses of wine for just 2700 kr and we would gladly pay that again. Good food, good service, good experience. Au bientôt.

French high end bistro serving sharable food that sometimes has a twist. The venue has a vibe and an "atmosphere" that elevates the whole experience. The service is attentive and sometimes with an opinion, as you would expect from a french bistro. We went there for a quick lunch (and a bottle from a very decent wine list). The scallop is an absolute must have as well the tartar where they put criminally delicious mini-french fries on top. Would love to have a full dinner at the place, definitely going back there.
