The soup is disappointing. So is the avocado sandwich (the one without the egg). Waiters didn’t seem friendly, and when they made a mistake with latte / matcha, did not cover the difference to apologize. It is beautiful though, just wish the other elements held up too.

This is an amazing coffee shop. It looks small and plain from the street but it’s bigger on the inside, with a vibrant atmosphere of 100s of students on laptops chilling out while working on their papers. Atrium and sofa sections… Their baked goods are good, but don’t expect full lunch menu. The barista will eventually get your order but worth the wait.

Beautiful atmosphere. Really cosy and I loved the concept with the tree and the amphitheatre style seats. I was left playing the guessing game about whether I should wait for my drinks while the food was being served. A quick heads-up would’ve saved me some confusion The avocado toast was a scam. Two slices of bread with avocado slices on top. Who thought of that? Pancakes were really nice.

The place is cozy, that time we went there was full. But luckily we get the table very quick. The only thing is, need a bit time to get your drink :) but I understand she was alone to make the drink and the place was full. I like the texture of the cake is very smooth and the burn cheesecake was perfect 🤍 but I forget to take picture lol

I usually hate to leave bad reviews but unfortunately I have to on this occasion. We came because of their gluten free options which at 11am they were already sold out of. After ordering multiple items were not taken into the system and so we had to go without. My juice was ready right away as was my food but the cappuccino I ordered I had to request 5 mins after. If you are sat down, you must keep checking the desk for your drink. No one was rude but there was a lot of miscommunication that made for a very unpleasant experience. Please increase gluten free quantity as we came here via recommendation!!!

A great place to enjoy a sweet or savory breakfast in this calm and spacious setting. Soft background music helps you start your day off right. The breakfast plate includes a soft-boiled egg, toast with butter and cherry jam, cheese, and granola with fromage blanc. The cardamom-flavored pastry is delicious. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

04/09/2025: I don't know anything about Brazilian food, but I love to try new flavours, especially when you get the sense that the dishes are made with experience and care and not just for instagram. With that background I thoroughly enjoyed our visit where we as first timers naturally tried the sample mix. Looking forward to coming back and trying the meat mix 🙂 only thing I might have wished for would be a slightly larger menu.
30/08/2025: I had my eye on the place for many years, but always put off eating at O ​​Tempo. Now it finally happened the other day and we were over the moon about the place. It was a summer evening with a little rain but there is a cozy covered garden/garden path with tables/chairs, which was a great place to sit and drink your caipininha and wait for your food, while the rain drummed on the plastic roof 😍 The service was friendly and attentive in a class of its own and the food was exciting and delicious. The waiter was very thorough in giving the level of instruction you needed to eat the right things together and get the most authentic experience of Brazilian cuisine. A small warning should be sounded about the food: The prices are very reasonable and we tried to try as many different things as possible. Therefore, we used the option on the menu where you can order half portions (for just over half the price), but when we (2 people) had eaten our way through a good third of the four half dishes, we were stuffed and I both overate myself and took a doggy bag home and almost stocked up once more the morning after… -So summa-summarum O Tempo is a lovely and very rare place that I will definitely visit again, but next time I will order a little less dishes. In conclusion, I would like to say that when I give 4 stars for the food, it should only be seen as a rating in relation to restaurants in general, regardless of price. If I had rated the food in relation to the price, it would have been a clear 5-star and the overall rating is also a resounding five from here 🙌

28/12/2025: My son (14), husband, and daughter (1.5 years old) ate here a few months ago, and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since! The portions were very generous, and the jerk chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor. I’m from Jamaica, and I fully approve of this restaurant’s twist on jerk chicken! On top of the great food, I truly appreciated the owner’s warmth. She took the time to make sure our little Kira was comfortable and well looked after, which meant a lot to us. We did realize a bit too late that the restaurant isn’t particularly toddler-friendly. However, our daughter was on her best behavior that day, and the owner was so kind and accommodating, making sure Kira was comfortable throughout our visit. I will definitely be visiting again the next time my husband and I are out for a date night. All the best, Kimberly
21/12/2025: For a homesick island gal like myself, visiting the Caribbean Housewife was like stepping into a little pocket of home in the middle of a foreign land. From the moment we entered, Jamain made us feel warm & welcome, and the food blew us away with the flavour I'd been missing since leaving home. Jamain was polite, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks we indulged in. It also felt great to converse with someone with a similar background - almost like talking to a longtime friend. This is a hidden gem in CPH, and one that you shouldn't miss out on if you have the chance!
