29/10/2024: Excellent Italian cuisine in Denmark

27/10/2024: It was Friday night. It was probably around 6pm when my wife and I landed at Da Nico's. My wife had eaten there before and recommended the place. I never go out of my way to eat a good pizza. It was quite full, but there was a nice table for two where I could see the activity in the kitchen. It was BUSY. The two in the kitchen and the waiter worked the best they could. Still, it took more than an hour before I got my pizza. My stomach was somewhat less than satisfied. That changed abruptly when I took the first mouthful of my pizza. It was probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. And I've got quite a few. Forgotten was the waiting, forgotten was the growling stomach. Forgotten were the less nice thoughts about why on earth there were only three of them at work. Instead, my taste buds were in heaven. Every bite was enjoyed. And I was well fed. I don't know if it's normal for it to take an hour to get your pizza at Da Nico. I just know it was worth the wait. I also know that I would like to wait another hour. PS: My wife was also very satisfied with her food and took home inspiration for her own cooking.
