23/07/2025: The ambiance is very pleasant with soft inviting lighting and music. The dishes had wonderful flavor, especially the tartar, spätzle, and the cannelloni. It was delicious.
I will say that even the "larger" dishes recommended for a main, at 245/265 kr each, were way too small, it felt disappointing in size, and was the same size as the "appetizers." The fish looked like a tiny business card size serving, very small.
The strawberry tarte tatin to finish the meal was excellent, and much larger than said fish en croute. 🤷🏼♀️
22/07/2025: I came to Frank with high expectations, but it didn’t quite deliver. Some dishes were genuinely good, especially the pork and the Gillardeau oyster. However, others missed the mark. The fried oyster was boring, and the side salad was far too salty.
The restaurant promotes itself as Asian fusion inspired, but as someone Asian, I didn’t find anything particularly new or exciting. Many reviews mention bold and unique flavors, but I have to disagree. Overall, a 3-star experience for me.
On top of that, the service felt cold. The staff member who looked after our table wasn’t friendly and made us feel a bit left out, which added to the overall disappointment. A 3-star experience for me.
