A slightly delayed post from Thursday 30.07 where we finally got to visit the bookkeeping at Svendborg Port. The weather was lovely and the area at the port has become really nice with a beach bar, a couple of food stalls and almost everything drinkable imaginable. We were there mainly because of the beer bar, so I'll start with that. Very good selection and cozy decor. I would also like to mention that the large walk-in cooler where all the beers are stored is a big plus in my book. Had a few good conversations with one of the bartenders, who clearly shared my interest in beer. We got to taste four beers, two of which were new breweries for me. Definitely a place we'll be frequenting in the future. There was also a bit of a letdown, as we also had plans for dinner and the choice fell on a burger. Ordered a burger for 109 kroner on the slightly counter-intuitive website. We got it after 1 hour and 40 minutes. It must be said that the harbor was very busy, but there were also many people working in the burger stall. It just seemed like no one had an overview or control, so everyone was running around confusedly among themselves.

Their fanatical Duck burger is not that great, there were 3 of us who got it and I definitely pulled the nineteen, because there was bad Duck from a wing in the burger, the other 2 got a little more, but not much more, I don't know if they had run out since it was shortly before closing time, but if that was the case they should have offered a beef or mushroom instead. Take a Bacon Cheese instead! Ordered 4 times for music quiz night, still haven't managed to get the order correct, either the fries or dip were missing.
